Review of Bombed Out Church Ice Rink
I was very dissatisfied and dissapointed with the overall experience. It was not advertised enough to make me aware that the ice rink was synthetic. The synthetic ice was extremely hard to skate on even for experienced ice skaters and it lead to us leaving early. It was very underwhelming to say the least.

I booked this event for my self & my daughter to go ice skating, like it stated. We both was really disappointed because there was no ice at all on the rink. We will definitely not be going there again. You shouldn't advertise ice skating when it clearly isint.

Review of Bombed Out Church Ice Rink
Everything about this was a lovely amazing experience...except the "ice" skating! Haha! Don't expect to be zipping around on the slippery plastic like you would on real ice. Worth it for the venue though

Review of Bombed Out Church Ice Rink
The place is stunning , staff were lovely and friendly but ice rink was much smaller than expected and synthetic ice was just terrible, not slippery at all. Very disappointing experience.

Review of Bombed Out Church Ice Rink
The idea for the event was amazing, I had high expectations and it was a beautiful day. But the tickets were too expensive for an "ice" rink that was actually plastic where you could basically just slip instead of skate. It could have been stated in the event that the structure wouldn't have an actual ice rink. If this is done again in the future, real ice would make all the difference!

Review of Bombed Out Church Ice Rink
What an absolute waste of £30 had more fun sliding on my kitchen floor. I'd strongly recommend not attending this absolute waste of time save your money for a proper ice rink in the new year.

Review of St Lukes Bombed Out Church
We went here for the ice rink which wasnt really an ice rink bit more of tiles with water thrown over it 🤔 staff were fab regardless very friendly and helpful, bar prices expensive hot chocolate 4.50 but i expected that due to the monie going back into the venue.
Organised very well want nomore than id say 15 on the rink, it wasnt ice it was all artificial but my son had an absloute ball was on it over an hour, the kids were playing tag sliding every were and there was loads of laughter. Staff wasnt too strict which was nice i generally thought it was brilliant, it would be impossible for the venue to have a real ice skating rink. As its not big enough.
As long as the kids are hsppy thats what matters 👌👌🎄

Review of Bombed Out Church Ice Rink
My granddaughter and I were looking forward to our trip to the ice rink but we're extremely disappointed to say the least. I am a good skater who has been ice skating since I was 3 years old. The fact that when we arrived and discovered it was plastic ice was worrying and neither of us along with nearly every other person in our slot could move away from the edge without holding on for dear life. The skates just went from under you, it was impossible to skate . We got off the rink after stumbling around once and left after having been there 5 minutes out of an hour and 15 minutes slot as did a few other people. It was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent. Such a shame as it was a lovely venue.

Review of Bombed Out Church Ice Rink
Staff were really nice and it was well organised but the ice rink was very poor- it was 'artificial ice' and you could barely skate, it was like walking. The rink was tiny and so many people were breaking rules and nothing was being done. Really disappointing considering the price

Review of Bombed Out Church Ice Rink
Please don't waste your money! Times are hard and we have to choose carefully how we spend our money at Christmas. We want to give our kids the best memories! Both my girls love ice skating and when I saw the advert for 'magical ice experience ' I thought 'bingo'! Well the rink is plastic and uneven, virtually impossible to skate on. The skates are very uncomfortable and at least 20 mins was spent faffing with them. The church is a beautiful venue of course, but there was very little festive atmosphere. A few strands of fairy lights was it ...even the music was particularly non-festive! We were all very disappointed, my girls had been bursting with excitement but left in tears afterwards. This event is definitely not as advertised!
