It was absolutely Chaos we left the venue, the floor was like a skating ring as the doors were open and the children were running in and out into the snow the floors were wet so the tiles became very slippy, there was no structure no santa all there was for entertainment was face painters! Tried to find organizer, who I believe was the elf, ,who disappeared! My four grandchildren were so upset by the whole event! There was a lot of people leaving the seating area, was very dangerous there were children falling off the benches, it was an absolute nightmare, I would be grateful if I could have a refund please as I paid £79 for this event and my grandchildren were so upset by it all, I will take this matter further, if I dont get my money refunded, as times are hard enough, I would like to be able to use the refund to take my grandchildren for a day out, as it was part of a Christmas present for them. been to many events in the shankly which have always been fantastic. this childrens party was shocking. it was dangerous and very unorganised. it was a 3 hrs party and we stayed for 50 minutes we where in a group of 14. we asked when santa would be making an appearance to be told there was no santa. No santa at a xmas party. disney princesses where there and the had only been booked 2 hrs before party.

This event was an absolute let down for the children!
No organisation what so ever, could have walked in the place for free, no one manning the doors. No DJ just music played, at one point one song was played 4 times on the bounce!. A couple of games for the kids, a ball pit that wasnt even big enough for a nursery, kids were kicking each other through no fault of there own. Kids of all ages were running around slipping on the tiled floor, one child i seen split his head open.
My disabled aunt was unable to sit down as not enough chairs, a member of staff was informed, they said a chair would be provided, no chair arrived. No nibbles or even cordial provided for the kids for the price of the ticket which in my opinion the hotel took great advantage of!!!, £24 for 3 kids meals, 1 i had to send back.
The health and safety of the venue was a disgrace, im a H&S consultant and guaranteed i wont be taking my family to this venue again, access/egress points not manned, children could just run out!, wires coming from the stage that kids were tripping over, not enough welfare facilities provided for the amount of people at venue. If an emergency were to occur id dread to think what would have happened.

I’ve made a separate complaint and requested a full refund. Had to leave the event early as it was unsafe for my 3 year old son and myself (6 months pregnant) to be there. Chaotic with very little organisation.

Wow where do we even start. What an absolute joke. More like a Christmas hell hole than we a Christmas party. To start with the warm welcome “what’s your number” was the only welcome we got. Walked in to hundreds of children just run absolutely ragged. No organisation at all just a big free for all kids just running round. 11 years old on baby bikes. One small ball pit with no balls in. If u didn’t want to dance with the elves there was literally nothing at all to do. Chaos at the face painting station. Honestly can not believe what we have just witnessed. We are all hardworking mums who promised our children a special day out and every single one of them asked to leave early. One of our children even left with a nose bleed due to a piece of the soft play being thrown in his face. The amount of people who had left the event was estonishing. would definitely not recommend to anyone we havd beem trying to get threw as we was promised q full refund but yet to get threw to anyone.

This was a very poorly organised event, I booked this for a girls night thinking it would be a similar thing to bingo bingo!, nothing like. The compare was hurrendous you couldn’t understand which number he was calling the microphone was too close to his mouth!, it advertises butlers in the buff there was none to be seen.

To say it was. Christmas event no Christmas music was played!.

Would not recommend you will be disappointed.

The ceiling had a big crack in and water was dripping down causing people to fall over, including 2 members of our party. Other than that was amazing night!

Absolute mayhem nothing but chaos no one in charge , kids left to run riot, age reign to big the smaller children didn’t stand a chance. Food was nothing but confusion no one actually knew who had ordered what just shouting numbers hoping people would claim their food. For the price disgusting. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I will be putting a formal complaint in.

Very disappointing couldn’t hear what the compare was saying due to bad sound system. Butler in the buff, no service just men walking around boxies. Extortionate prices at the bar and for food. Staff behind the bar were very moody and miserable and could do with some customer service skills

This has to be the worst children's event iv ever been too, it was a free for all with children throwing plastic balls around the room, children running wild and no order at all. We left after paying 50.00 for less than 40 mins.
I have asked for a refund, not heard from them.

This was the worst party ever been. From the 3 hours only the first hour was kind of fun activities with the elfs. Then break and removing all toys....so kids just wondering around. Then 2 princesess appeared and singing baby shark songs when it was advertised not suitable for children below 2 but this show was for a 2 year old. You could see the room getting empty after 1 hour and we also left at 3pm after waiting for some Christmas themed activities as it wasn't fun at all. Instead of princesses should have santa claus, reminders more elfs, more activities and Christmas songs. It wasn't worth the price at all and I wouldn't suggest anyone to attend, it was just waste of money.

Worts party I have ever experienced in my whole life . What a complete shambles of an event. No organisation, not enough seat and tables for everyone, 2half hours the kids waited in a cue for a simple rubbish bit of face paint. I will not ever book or recommend this event to anyone. Shame on the shankley for this disaster

The event was very poorly organised. There we’re only 2 face painters for over 200 children which caused parents to become abusive to the staff. There was no snow machine as described. No Father Christmas at a Christmas party? The tiniest soft play ever which younger children didn’t get a look in as older children were being too rough. The food was very overpriced and chips tasted like they had a full tub of salt on. Hardly any seating, people were having to sit on The floor to eat their meals. I would not recommend the event and will be asking for a refund.
