Review of MadMen 54 ! New Years Eve
Disappointing!! So much wait for the cloackroom!
Nearly got crushed at 5am in the coat check queue going around the club! A serious safety hazard!
Madmen 54? This was actually the wait time to get my jacket back!
Also one question regarding the dj guest Freemasons : Why ?? Music was so different than usual.

Review of MadMen 54 ! New Years Eve
Absolute rubbish. Far from how it was advertised, not fancy at all. The venue turned out to be a dark, stinky hole, literal smell of piss and mold lingered across the main dancefloor. The toilet attendant was harrassive. Expensive, lukewarm drinks in paper cups, amateur bartenders who clearly did not know what they were doing. Unimpressive lights and visuals. The only seating area was outside in the cold, next to the smoking area and a hot dog stand. Had to leave before the headliner started, it was so awful.
The only thing that was nice was the music and dj’s, unfortunately you had to wear earplugs because it was so loud – needless to say it made any conversation impossible. Can’t believe we paid 52 pounds a ticket and I am a big LGBT party lover. Could be your thing if you are a gay man looking for a quick hot date and not really care for anything else, otherwise complete waste of time and money that you’ll never get back.

Review of MadMen 54 ! New Years Eve
The music at the beginning of the night was horrid. It only changed around 2am or when the beyond party started. To top it up the lighting on the dance floor was too bright too. No atmosphere.
However in the end the venue delivered and it was a good night.

Review of MadMen 54 ! New Years Eve
New Year's Eve at Fire didn't feel like a NYE at all, more like an extended Halloween. The music on the main dance floor by Free Masons was fine, the other dance floor was simply awful. Overall, Fire experience was rather disappointing as the venue hasn't moved on with the times. Being there felt like being transported back into 2008, rather than 2023.

Review of Sex Circus- Boxing Day
Someone I know told me not to go as on Boxing Day, it will be empty. A big surprise to find it packed and everyone having a good time. This is also despite the fact that there are no trains on Boxing Day, and buses are on a reduced service. It shows that Sexcircus events can draw in the crowds.
If I have criticism, it is that the owner of Fire is forever throwing money down the drain on "improvements". These include new smoke machines. What, after Covid ? Who wants these ? In the last Sex Circus in October, the stage lighting was crisp and clear with bright white light. Now, money has been thrown away putting in a kind of foglight which fogs up the stage. How could the owner possibly have agreed to this ? It will not bring in a single extra customer. Besides, unnecessary expenditure eats into profits. Maybe the lighting firm talked the owner into it.
One investment which is worthwhile is the canopy roof in the outside garden area, which makes this area waterproof. The other is the speedier coat check.
Please, Craig, venue owner, think very carefully before you agree to spend on anything else. I would bring back the old stage lighting for a start, and I can say for certain that the red laser lights will not bring in any new customers. Remember, that at the KitKat Club in Berlin, no money has been spent since the 1950s. That venue brings in about 4 times the crowds as Fire. You can paint the walls with real gold if you want, but that will not increase turnover by one iota.
