This event has gone downhill a LONG way since I last went a few years ago.

£8.80 for a single shot of vodka!

People walking around in just basic everyday clothes, and some still in their coats! In a dark room FFS.

And there were women there! I don't mean trans identifying females, I mean just groups of actual girls. WTF?!

Won't bother again.

For a Christmas "event", the music was below average, no real budget was spent on lighting and shows, and the bouncers were rude af. I got out for a while to walk a friend to the bus and tried to re-enter but the angry bouncer immediately shut me out and told me that there is no re-entry. I did not argue and did not care honestly but I just wanted to know the reason, so when I asked why, he got even angrier and just replied that no re-entry means no re-entry, so I just left. On the bright side, the bartenders were really friendly and welcoming.

alot of straight people in there for a gay night, a few adds to the atmosphere, but there were lots of couples getting off with each other not really respecting what LGBTQ+ safe spaces are about. they can literally go to any club and finger their misses, why shove there heterosexuality in everyone's face in a "gay" club/ night

For #Madmen party followers.
They ( night promoters/ managers) deleted my post and complaint on FB page. BIG mistake.
Dark room for the Madmen is 20m2 ( how it was 26 November) security is in front of the entrance. He is there to ”manage the capacity of 20ppl inside the darkroom/play area”
According to the Skiddle adv - "the play area is XXL and DJs over 3 rooms" both were false advertising. It was one room with the DJ, second room was empty, 3rd room was given to the straight party and we were not allowed.
It was painful to watch a long queue to playarea full of hopeless, silent and ashamed boys. But in front of the queue I saw a happy face of the security guard who is finally feels proud to be useful by maintaining a dignity of the play area.
Now I am not surprised the club was half empty till 6am when I left
Whoever is a manager on the Madmen night did a great job to destroy the reputation.
Friends and guests you have been informed. Been there, done that. 👍
