Review of Barton LIVE | UB40 Ft Ali Campbell
Can not fault ali Campbell or bitty McLean the music was amazing however the venue was not good due to the weather, mud,security and parking facilities the security was virtually none exsistant at the front of the stage only 2 security men present most of the concert numerous fights breaking out and no 1 there to deal with them the parking is quite a walk away from the venue which is hard to get to at the end of the concert as everyone is going the same way a lot of drunk people staggering in front of you you would have thought they would have put some straw over the mud to make it safer for people to enter and exit the venue as it was so slippy would I attend barton aerodrome again definitely not

Went to see UB40 ft Ali Campbell which was superb. Cannot fault it.
Barton was muddy as it had rained all day. I do think more could have been done to cover the front of stage! We went VIP and were ankle deep in muddy sludge! There was a lot of drunken people who from 4pm til 9 when Ali came on stage were drinking, that's fine and dandy until they were paraletic, being rowdy, one man was barging past women knocking them over into the mud and being very aggressive! He claimed he was "knifed up" which was scary. There is practically no security! All in all I won't ever go to Barton aerodrome again. I did not feel safe

Entrance was so muddy and slippy opening the gates at Three to early
The sound wasn't very good
Bitty was absolutely fabulous
Ali was really good still got the voice and the moves but he looked tired
However due to all that it is what you make and we enjoyed ourselves apart from the few idiots fighting too drunk to even stand

Really unhappy with the concert yesterday. There was only 1 man singing before ali Campbell who eventually came on stage at 9.15. Everyone was getting fed up after being there all day and not a single update of when ali would be coming on stage.

Overall show was amazing, couldn't fault it!
Venue wasn't great, ground was swamped cause of the rain, VIP area wasn't worth the extra money (not enough toilets in that area for a start) and absolute carnage trying to get out of the venue, thousands of people trying to push through a small exit!

Hi, I went with the wife expecting a great atmosphere and it was completely different, a lot of pushing and fights, (we witnessed three fights) the beer was stupidly over priced four was £26 when the same beer is £4 for four I know and appreciate they have to make money but that is a completely rip off. Music..... Ali Campbell did not once interact with the crowd and left it to his staff, not even a welcome Manchester. He was on and off stage yet only was on for 1hr and 20 mins and still felt the need to go off stage for 20 min periods, like he's some kinda royalty. Wasn't happy with it at all.
