Review of Manchester Scare Factory 2024
Ridiculously expensive and not scary at all. Took 3.5 hours to get through the 2 mazes. Queues aren't managed well and ended up needing to stand and wait halfway through one of the mazes as we'd caught up to another group. Twice the security came up to threaten to throw someone in our group out and accused them of doing som**hing they didn't. Drinks are expensive and the whole thing is a rip off. Only benefit is it's Manchester but nowhere near worth the price compared to other scare experiences. However when someone in our group lost a tick*t the woman handing them out was very kind and replaced it

Queued up for 2 and a half hours to do absolutely nothing! Do not recommend at all, so disappointed. Was my friends first Halloween in the UK also, spoke to a guy called Mike who said he would refund us but that wont get our Saturday night back. He explained everyone shown up late from the earlier time slots and were still allowed in which meant the later time slots were left waiting. Saw so many people walking out upset/ angry.

Review of Manchester Scare Factory 2024
Far too many tick*ts sold. Queues for over 2 hours. Food that was offered was overpriced, and we attended at 9pm, by then there was nothing left anyway. Not enough staff to cope with the customers. Not enough toilets in the venue.
The event itself was not the best. Had far better, more well thought through and miles better props in other events. I don't believe this lived up to the hype. I bought a tick*t for 4 at £100 so £25 a head (as an offer) even that is overpriced for what it was.
Good, yes, but not £25 worth, and not half as good as external events that pop up all over. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a better 'scare factor'

The queues let this event down. Over an hour and a half we queued for the Toymaker only for another group to somehow end up with us and ruin it!!
The actors were good and their outfits were great though but unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it to friends because of the queues.

Review of Manchester Scare Factory 2024
What a shame...was really looking forward to this even with my 2 teenage boys but the organisation was horrendous, we had to wait an extra hour and a half after our allotted time and as a result were only able to complete one of the two mazes. Very little to do whilst queueing all night and so would not attend again.

Review of Manchester Scare Factory 2024
Been to many scare events and this was the worst. The characters weren't scary and it felt like not much thought went into it. There was only 2 mazes that were over in a couple of minutes and nothing to do when you came out. Personally didn't feel like good value for money and I wouldn't go again.

Review of Manchester Scare Factory 2024
We waited over 2 hours in the queue only to have 5-10 minutes in each maze. The venue was severely overbooked. Staff were visibly stressed due to this. Not to mention the queue within the maze itself made any scares extremely predictable and a waste of time. We paid over £30 each (6 of us) only to spend our evening waiting in queues.

Massively over subscribed. Despite having booked specific times the Queues were insane as the organisers had sold more tick*ts than they could cope with.
We didn't want to wait over an hour standing a queue for the second maze, as my partner has mobility problems.
The maze we did was great, but it was a clear money grab by the organisers, who placed tick*t sales above experience.

We were supposed to be there for 8:30, we didn't get in until 9:30 and didn't even get to go to both places because the queues were so massive that it was midnight by the time we finished the first one. Even in that maze we were just constantly stopping and waiting around which made it extremely frustrating and ruined the experience

Review of Manchester Scare Factory
Very poor event. A few points: it was disorganised as there were too many people in the venue and long queue's formed everywhere, it took ages to get in as we had to wait for people to come out so space was created and the mist/smoke in the air combined with the amount of people in the venue made it very hard to breathe. In order to improve the experience more organisation is needed and i feel like loads of tick*ts were sold in an effort to make more money, but this just led to a poor customer experience and queue's were very long and some people didn't even end up going in both mazes. The music also wasn't very on par with the whole experience as pop music was playing when it's supposed to be a scary experience. Lastly it was way too pricy for the experience i received and i wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

Booked for 7.30. Had to queue till 8.30 to get in, and then queue over an hour for each maze! 1 maze was absolutely ridiculous and not worth the time queuing at all! Paid nearly £200 for 5 of us for daughters 15th birthday just to spend 3 hours stood in queues to spend 20 minutes in the mazes. Didn't leave till 11.30pm, missed birthday restaurant booking also. Definitely would not recommend and would actually like my money back.
