Review of Manchester Reggae Festival
An amazing event ! Superb performances from some of my favourite artists. Good location with parking / overnight parking nearby. Reasonably priced bar with hard working friendly staff and we didn't have to wait too long for drinks.
The only criticism I would have is there should have been more food providers as you can't bring food or drinks in. The food we had was exceptionally good quality, and good value money, £10 for a big complete meal. We had, curried mutton, rice & peas & fried chicken with chips, however there was only one provider for the whole event which made the queues too long. People need to eat if out 2pm-11pm !!
The whole event was well run, went smoothly and we would definitely return.
A massive thank you to all involved, it was my birthday treat and I thoroughly enjoyed it X

If I thought I could get a refund I would try to get one. There was supposed to be two rooms with groups on and there wasn't, some of the groups pulled out leaving a lot if people disappointed, I won't be in a hurry to book again next year.

Review of Manchester Reggae Festival
Venue is disgusting! Poor security staff had to make sure toilets weren't being used due to blockages, also felt terrible for 1 girl who was there plunging the toilets with no proper equipment or even gloves on. Almost all toilets over flowing and just felt awful for staff working there!!
Venue was disgusting and festival was a joke. Bowlers is a better venue for this kind of event.
Absolutely let down.

Review of Manchester Reggae Festival
Not happy went to manchester reggae festival the first act sang together earlier than what time was stated then we found out that Black Guru cancelled and that was the reason i bought these tickets for my friends birthday as that is her favourite group, all the times were messed up changing the times without informing people also big gaps between each artist , then we found out from someone that Inner Circle had cancelled they only had one room open instead of 2 the toilets were discusting im not happy my friends birthday was ruined we left the building early because i feel we should be refunded or given free ticket for a event of our choice to make up for this.

Review of Manchester Reggae Festival
Security staff were very helpful and friendly. Bar staff also very accommodating and friendly.
The toilets were dirty and flooded and lacked in toilet paper. I felt very sorry for the staff who had to deal with the filth and mess.
A programme of bands and time slots would have been helpful.
Also three artists were misusing from the planned line up ( only prewarned about one)
I also think that this event was not suitable for young children as there was a high level of alcohol fuelled people falling over and pushing and shoving.
I saw a three year old looking bewildered in the mix of the mayhem.
Otherwise a good day & night with great MC.

Review of Manchester Reggae Festival
I was very disappointed only came to watch a inner circle and they didn't make it. Also found out another 3 article dropped out also. Was ment to have 2 stages and was only 1. No where to sit and watch unless you was vip. And as for the security they was very uprated and rude to many.
