We were VIP and everything was so chaotic

Ub40 we’re brilliant unfortunately they finished early and didn’t even do there final songs like they usually do
Security said there was to many people let in that’s why it finished early only 50 mins play time not good enjoy really there was a lot of disappointed people there

Quiet a few people who were at the show were drunk before entering and there was a few problems that security had to deal with during the show to which were in the vip bar

Bands were brill,venue a farce.organisers sold too many tickets for vip area hence it shut before we could get in.£70 each and had to stand at back of normal area,it nearly caused a riot.

I paid full price for a ticket and the ticket sellers must of realised that they over priced the tickets because a couple of days prior to the event they put a 2-4-1 offer on. Then the day before they where giving away free standard tickets. My Skiddle app wasn't working, it sent a link to my email but the link didn't work. I had to log into my Skiddle account and download the ticket instead. The support act was fine but having to wait until 9pm for UB40 to come on stage for roughly only 50 minutes of music was a kick in the teeth to say the least. I heard there was issues with getting in and out of the VIP area and also the bar stands closing before they advertised they would.

Absolute shambles we were luckier than others in that we got into the venue when the gates opened, but that was when the praise ended.
As shown on social media and local press, the event was surely over-subscribed, as far too many people where allowed into the "so called" VIP area. and the bar area was a joke.
We too had a number of drink tokens left, after being told on two occasions that the bar was open until 10.30pm, and were unable to use them.
A poor advertisement for my "home town" but I should have known better as the same company apparently did the non existent Oktoberfest.
Also Ali and Astro played for a lot longer @ Darlington some years before.
Overall a poor experience, so I will be wary in the future.

Not disabled friendly at all no viewing platform
Organisation was total chaos
Drinks overpriced , bar service unacceptable not enough staff
Vip area no food available if you left no way back
No refund on drinks tokens when they ran out of drink at the bar
Total wipeout for 70 a ticket never again
Nothing to do with the band only played a hour slot
Lots more issues with horrible treatment from security and members of the events team staff
It could have been good with proper organisation
Hundreds of complaints from people all over the country

Ive followed ub40 for years love there music been to 10 of their live gigs this was the worst.
Bad organisation
started over an hour late to much time wasted inbetween groups setting up. To many people drunken people allowed in viip area was no crowd control I was squashed against barrier as crowd surged forward. Drinks tokens bad idea only wanted one drink not to spend 10 pound.no food in vip area No encore from ub40 first time ever and too short set it all was a total rip off for 70+ pound. They weren't on very long at all. It was a total shambles I much prefer darlington arena or Newcastle City hall. It is a shame because I absolutely love their music so disappointed.

Badly organised, paid for V I P and could not access any as we where told there was a maximum limit for golden circle of 600 I was in a que of at least 100 that was turned away even though we paid for v i p bar and toilets i got there for 6:30 and ub40 come on at 9:00 and where finished before 10 pm, would not recommend this to anyone

UB40 concert was amazing everyone was having a great time, prices were affordable, would recommend VIP as we did , glad we went, just what we needed.
