Review of Disco Tots
Really unimpressed. I booked tickets thinking there would be plenty included in the price. There was nothing! Prices were extortionate- £7 for a small tray of plain nachos!!! Chips and cheese for £6.50! Rides weren't included-£5 each for a go on one of them. As I write this I'm getting even more annoyed at the prices. The event was called Disco Tots but there wasn't anything for tots to do at all. I also thought it was ridiculous that you made Harlech Retail park the drop off point when it's so far away and gave Dragon Taxis the monopoly for the event. I wouldn't go again, wouldn't recommend, and would actively tell people not to bother. Waste of a Sunday afternoon and my money.

Depends what you're looking for in a day festival. This was not as kid friendly as advertised, particularly for "tots" which it should've been when the word is in the event name. The free inflatables and bouncy castle didn't materialise due to the winds. The free face painting was no where to be found and £5 for a badly drawn glitter heart was the only alternative. The food was overpriced and bad from some the stalls (the noodle bar particularly). The music was still full festival volume so my littles could even go in a tent without risking their hearing. There were no rides for littles, only bigger kids and these started at £5 per person, so got expensive very quickly. I was also perturbed at the bar selling booze at a kids festival. A number of parents seemed more interested in drinking budwiser and reliving their rave days than actually watching their kids, particularly around the jitterbug area where some kids were treating the circus skills equipment like trash and snatching off smaller kids. If I compare it to the kidzfield at Glastonbury, which is about the same size and an alcohol/smoke/vape free zone, this fell far short of what I know can be achieved for a family friendly festival. Honestly, the kids felt like an after thought, probably a consequence of using the same site for 4 festivals in 3 days.
All that said, the kids enjoyed it if they didn't know any different. Is it an okay, albeit extortionatly priced, introduction to festivals for kids? Yes it is.
Will I be returning next year? Absolutely not.

Review of Festival Of Comedy
Wonderful evening of comedy, with Milton Jones, Rhys James (not the footballer!) and effervescent Maisie Adam who MC’d brilliantly. Only minor issue was the exit was very restrictive, which would have been awkward if there had been an emergency evacuation. However, if they hold another one in Newport, I’ll be there.

We love comedy and we enjoy outdoor events.
The comedy line up was superb. Milton Jones is a firm favourite so I was always going to love the event.
The drink prices were ridiculous and the selection appalling!
I’ve had three weekends this year at Hyde Park and a long weekend at Black deer but not paid this much for poor wine or lager.
The wine that retails at £7 in the local supermarket was selling for £35.
These prices would seriously make me reconsider attending again.

Absolutely shocking for toddlers.. Nothing there for them at all! Dont know its given the name disco tots when the event was more based around adults getting drunk and more suitable for teenage kids.. No bouncy castle or little play areas for the little ones

Review of Disco Tots
Not really aimed at the children as the name would suggest. The acts either didn’t show up or were in different order to advertised, all played the same songs which got a bit boring towards the end. Ultrabeat… were they even Ultrabeat members?
The food was poor and really overpriced. Drink, they ran out towards the end. The entertainment for the children was pretty minimal, other than the circus tent but not a massive amount there to be fair. Only 3 rides, non of which suitable for little ones and at a disgusting £5 a go that could only be short lived… no one has an endless money pot.
Really poor and I would definitely not book again or recommend to anyone.
I’ve booked the in it together festival through Skiddle and am now wondering if I’ve done the right thing.

Review of Festival Of Comedy
Really enjoyed the event. All the sets were really good. However, we were surprised that the host Daisy left before the end as the headlining act, Milton, didn't get the big build up. The bar prices, particularly the wine, were extortionate, undefendable mark up on price.

Review of Festival Of Comedy
The ridiculous price charged by the bar for a truly awful bottle of wine was hugely disappointing. As regular festival goers we anticipated higher prices, but £45 for a bottle of undrinkable wine was a joke!
Similarly, as was the one and only choice of beer, namely Budweiser lager in cans not even pints on draught! Surely it would’ve been possible to have also had a bitter or real ale available too?!

Review of Disco Tots
Completely overpriced. Paid a lot for entry and for what? To have to pay for all food, drinks and attractions. Couldn’t bring in any food or drinks so my son could not eat as no food suitable for him. Price for water alone was £2.50!! Want an ice cream? Have to pay extra even for sauce! Main artist was a no show. No accommodation for children with additional needs. Poor management of the event overall, advised to not bring carts or buggies yet had to walk around to exit with 2 young children.
No inflatables as promised, hardly any rides suitable for young children.
Had better fun at local fairgrounds where the entry is £1. Email sent requesting refund.

Not for children !!! One vendor had suck my pipe on his t shirt lol 😝 no children’s activities or rides fair rides all adult 👩 my grandson is 5 so I think you need to either cater for Tots !, or adults 👵 seemed like colour clash and party in the park facilities were just left and used . U need children characters rides and activities to keep tots entertained!!!! Food and drinks expensive!! What’s wrong with family bringing food and drink u made enough money from the tickets 🎫

Didn’t end up risking it because reports of the mud seemed unsafe for an event aimed at toddlers and babies! Told not to use prams which is a joke. No parking on site as well so no pram would make things very difficult. Would like my money back to be honest as we didn’t want to risk spending more money and having to leave

Review of Festival Of Comedy
As it was a comedy event I have rated Music as comedy, it was an excellent show.
Prices for food and drink were a rip-off £6.50 for a can of Budweiser (the only beer on sale) and £6 for a handful of cold chips

Enjoyed the gig overall but wish there was more thought on transport. There should have been more shuttles to the train station or generally more options for public transport/ parking etc.

Was charged £35 for a beer as they couldn't show you what you were paying and must have mistakenly charged me for someone else's drinks or something. Beer and food was horrifically overpriced in general. The comedy was good though.

Great line up. Super grateful the weather was with us. It nearly turned and would have completely changed the vibe. It was risky set up with weather. However. Class line up. Food and drink was a little expensive.
