Review of Disco Tots
Some of the music was good, others not. The venue was great. However I wish there had been a lot more for the children to do. There was 3 adult rides and a small circus tent for hundreds of children. There should have been more family fun activities

How this can be called a festival for kids is beyond me, there was nothing for kids. The rides were not suitable for young children. The inflatables mentioned on the poster werenât there which would at least be something for the kids to do when the music gets too much. A lot needs to be done to make this event enjoyable for the whole family!

What an absolute rip off. £60 for the tickets and its basically a food festival with a bit of music. Blamed the weather for the lack of inflatables that were supposed to be included yet no issue with the 100ft fairground ride running. We queued for almost an hour to get in because people were searching baby buggies and kids pockets. Easily the worst âkidsâ event we have been too. Food prices were beyond expensive as well. Utter utter s**t

inside the event was ok but it lacked a lot, no real activities for kids, there was no baby changing facilities. the mucic on the main stage was very good.
getting to the event was ok, got a shuffle bus which we waited 10 minutes for. but leaving we had to walk back as we left before 5 when the shuffle bus restarted, although the buses where just sat at the stop, overall some good bits but a bit disappointing.

No inflatables, bouncy castles etc for kids as advertised, discos like mini rave and chaotic, rides expected to be free but £5 each for 2 min and food/drink overpriced with small portions - £60 wasted as left after 40 min due to experience being poor - even staff doing survey felt there wasnât enough there

Review of Disco Tots
Incredibly overpriced food and drink. Artists weren't all there as advertised. 3 rides all of which were ridiculously priced at £5 per person which when you have more than one child it adds up! Promised free inflatables with entry however these were not set up "due to strong winds" (even though the rides were running as normal?). One stand advertised 2 pineapple drinks for £10 however in the time it took to go and get money from my partner they had put the prices up 2 for £15 non negotiable.... 2 pineapples for £15, absolute joke. Bar advertised cans of cider and Hooch but had none in stock even though the event had only just opened. Paid £6.50 for one can of Budweiser that was taken from a multipack of 4. Charged £7 for 2 cans of 7up. Rules state no food or drink to be taken in to the event so I feel they had us up against a wall!

food was crazy money and not great quality. Drinks were also ridiculous, £3:50 for water! no taps to fill up your own bottles. Also they said it was too windy for the bouncy castle and was hardly windy at all.

Review of Disco Tots
To call it a family event suitable for all ages is the biggest understatement. Other than Jitterbugs and a stall for glitter face paint there was nothing really there for my three year old. There were no inflatables or bouncy castles as promised. I appreciate to a point that the weather had some influence on this but I canât see how cancelling them completely justified. There were no rides for young children and not much for the older lot either. Two rides is hardly spoilt for choice. The transport was a shambles. No timetable and we were shocked that even though we bought return tickets we werenât able to get home as the return bus was only from 5pm apparently. We were told we could just book a taxi. We had to book a taxi to return home which has left me less than impressed. Even the set was disappointing. There were artists who were advertised that never attended and the venue seemed bare entertainment-wise. Considering I have enjoyed Colour Clash many years on the trot and the In It Together Festivals, I was hoping to enjoy this one but I was really disappointed

Half of what was advertised and that was suitable for âtotsâ was not there. Other than jitterbugs, the younger children had nothing to do. The music wasnât varied to suit the children and the stage areas got so crowded, adults were knocking over younger children. Please can you provide information on where we can complain please

Advertised acts were not playing. No rides for young children. Not enough car parking. None of the âactivities included in the priceâ were on. No bouncy castle, mascot parade, stilt walkers, giant inflatables, fire breathers.

As a festival for kids there was nothing for them todo my son was bored and asked to leave the rides werenât for kids at all the man doing balloon animals was there for 3 hours alone I understand the weather wasnât on our side but there was no thought of how the kids would be kept entertained. The food and drink was so over priced. Unless there is some changes made I donât think I will come again and a lot of people I spoke to said the same

considering the event is aimed at children mainly toddlers, there wasn't actually much there for them. the music was good but after an hour dancing there wasn't much else. The food was expensive and £5 per person on the one suitable ride is a rip off. To top it off, the shuttle bus returns don't start until 5pm, not good when you have young, tired and bored children who then have to walk half hour back to the car! won't be returning!
