Review of Festival Of Comedy
The comedy show was brilliant. The line up was superb, long may it continue.
However I bought Golden Circle tickets and the GC bar wasn't open on arrival & the choice was limited and expensive (£35 for a bottle of Bulgarian White Wine) which was warm, as were the cans of beer I bought! I understand you need to make money from your festival but this felt like I was being ripped off.

Poor communication before hand. Nothing there for toddlers despite inflatables, bubbles etc being advertised. Some acts missing who were also advertised. No parking info and told not to bring a pram so had to walk a long distance to get there. Wouldn't let us out of the main exit at the end so had to do an extra lap of the park to just get to the same place on top of our long walk.

Not a lot for toddlers as stated. Fair ground rides for adults none for kids no bouncy castles or face painting as stated. Lots of drunk people as alcohol sold on site. More for adults than tots. Food was over priced

Review of Festival Of Comedy
Communication before the event very poor, no way to ask questions. Attempted messages via social media ignored. Information about travel, accessibility left far too late and wanting more. Huge queue before entry with no one knowing when we would be let in, including the stewards.
Made booking with very little information in good faith.
The only information before the event (about ground conditions after rain) was posted on social media, vague, and very easy to miss - they had all our emails to upsell us coach packages, it's a shame they didn't use this to communicate important information.
Tickets only available from an app isn't ideal or accessable.
There were plenty of options for food, overpriced but that is to be expected.
Very overpriced drink, nothing on draught, paying a lot for a can of Budweiser.
Acts were brilliant, credit to them. Let down by the event.
There were at least 2 very keen camera operators, they were so distracting! I understand the need for content, but it was so excessive and non stop.
Also a very distracting couple of tech guys on the stage throughout the comedy who just seemed to be tidying away wires and eating lunch. I'm not sure what they were there for, it was very odd.
The comedy as a whole felt like and afterthought.
Overall, I enjoyed the event, but I won't be returning.

Review of Disco Tots
All the inflatables cancelled no offer of anything else in lieu believe it or not, not everyone has extra money to make up for the experience you failed to provide
How do you tell kids that sorry everything you thought you'd get is a lie! Everything priced at £5 and above only water cheaper at £3!!! Told you can't bring anything in forcing you to buy from them! £50 for a family ticket sounds great till you need another £100 just to eat and do something. £5 rides that last 3mins as I timed and recorded them. Less then 20 benches available to sit on and try eat your £60 meal for 4 that tastes sh1t! You couldn't get a seat because families had turned them into a base camp
Oh and transfer bus the first one didn't get us there before the first act (the only one I wanted to see) so total loss all round to my family. we had got others to join us as we normally do so I was left apologising to them and their kids too ffs
We've done many festivals over the years and this was the worst its not kid focused it's money driven

Review of Disco Tots
Considering this was a tots event so ages ranging from 2 + if that's what you call a tot, the music choice was terrible I took my 7 year old twins for their birthday as it was their birthday that day along with a few friends and we found it very disappointing that the music they played was for more parents era than children so they were looking for things to do, which wasn't much. The rides were of teenage age plus and not much choice there were no inflatables there either I guess there was the weather excuse and health and safety. The food stalls were absolutly extortionate prices, I mean a hot dog and a burger stall was selling practically raw burgers and sausages which resulting in us giving them back 3 times for near on £10 with chips, crazy prices. All in all if there is a better music selection of children's era and more for the children to do maybe I would think about returning next time but until there's more children's input it is a no from me.!

Review of Disco Tots
Not all acts present as advertised. No inflatables or bouncy castles, no fire breathers, circus performers or mascot parade. The fair ground rides were all for older children, nothing for the younger ones. Poor communication regarding shuttle bus times and times of acts making travel arrangements really difficult. Not enough park and ride tickets for the amount of entry tickets sold. The face glitter was a complete rip off! £5 each for a smear of glitter, no choice in colours just gold. Really disappointing.

Review of Disco Tots
I bought tickets 6 months before the event but must have missed parking info. When I had an email just before the event I tried to book. All gone. I parked in Asda very cheap but a fair walk with little ones and even in tredegar house which you pass no signs no one there to direct you. On arrival long queues to enter venue and not all lanes open. With young childten in tow its not like adults. No bag or food info sent out but nothing special for toddlers provided. Thank goodness for mr whippy who had a massive queue all day. No hand washing near toilet. On exit made to walk further along a path where you HAD to walk all your children through 3 m of mud.
Circus little activities the only thing for toddlers that was free. No rides suitable for them. Basically throw in a few shark and wheels on bus songs and call it a toddler disco.
However to be fsir dj in one tent did his best with all the little ones and as usual the Welsh made the atmosphere.
On the day btw a late email said there wad pay-as-you-go parking at Tredegar hpuse!

Review of Disco Tots
This was not aimed at children, hardly anything specifically for kids. Most of the artists including the headline didn’t even appear on stage and nothing was even said about it. Line up was incorrect so no idea what was on when, it was basically at a disco with someone on the mic every now and then. £6.50 for a can! Disgusting
