Review of Disco Tots
Not very tot friendly. Only tot friendly places was the circus which was inundated with young children as no where else appropriate. All rides where far to big for tots. Ground was not as muddy as expected/photos of day before, but no consideration of ground and buggies and very little communication regarding concerns. The company advised not to take buggies to a tot festival which just shows the organisation skills. No bouncy castle due to wind, I actually think I could have blown more wind than the actual forecast. Ballon model guy never turned up so circus gent offered to make balloons alone. What tot wants to wait nicely in an hour que for a ballon? Food well you best get a mortgage out if you want to eat. One portion of chips starting at £6.50. Music was good for adults.
If I did not have my children at the tots festival, it would have been a different experience as it appeared to be more aimed at adults.
Personally I will not be booking again like many others wont, which is a shame. The name of the festival needs changing to people its actually aimed at.

Good venue, great atmosphere. Only issue with this year was lack of disabled parking which got rectified on the night and good efforts to make the wet ground accessible. Good job team Escape Records :-)

Completely false advertisement
No activities their for ‘toys’ the rides you had to be way over a metre tall
No ‘free’ bouncy castle or inflatables like advertised
Nothing for the younger kids to do
No ‘free’ activities
And there was a shisha tent - not sure how that’s appropriate for a child’s event?!

Review of Disco Tots
The organization was appalling for this event and I wouldn’t book again. Trying to get an answer as to whether the event was going ahead due to the weather was near impossible. The venue itself like a mud bath and water logged. Considering it was a family event they asked people not to bring push chairs because the ground was so bad. They should have just cancelled the event instead of forcing it. Also no food or drink was allowed in which is extremely unfriendly towards families. Especially with people with small children. The poor choice of location meant there was very limited parking so they asked people to park in a shopping center miles away and catch a public bus to the location. The public transport system was meant to accommodate that kind of crowd in one go. Poor organizing from start to finish

Review of Festival Of Comedy
Very poor set up with bars, over priced and poor selection. Whole evening felt rushed. Final act finished and then the lights and music stopped. Milton Brown was beyond poor and clearly did not want to be there. The rest of the acts were fantastic and hilarious.

Review of Festival Of Comedy
Great event with really good comedians, however the overpriced drinks and food available to purchase is absolutely appalling and really tarnishes the overall experience. In addition an out door even where umbrellas are taken from customers on arrival doesn’t make sense!! isn’t

Unbelievably bad communication re: accessibility meaning we did not feel confident making the trip and attending. The venue was a mudbath the previous evening and we received no reassurance that the situation had been satisfactorily resolved to allow chair users in our party to safely visit.

Review of Party At The Park 2023
Vip was a total waste of money, nothing to offer other than posh toilets.
the price of drinks was disgusting £10 for a can of au vodka, £35 for a bottle of wine.
the acts weren't the best, paid alot of money for an ok night. don't think I'll bother next year.

Review of Festival Of Comedy
The standard of comedy was great and the venue was lovely (got lucky with the weather and there was no indication it was sn outdoor event) but the food and drink quality and prices were awful!! £19.50 for 3 cans of Budweiser. A chilli cheese dog was £10 but had no chilli and contained a cold, tinned hotdog. I then tried a burger and the guy who served it had the dirtiest hands I'd ever seen. Foods stalls were a MASSIVE let down.

Fab day with the grandchildren who enjoyed so much they want a return visit.
Only minus was the price of food and drinks which was expensive for a family day out.
Maybe the rule should be relaxed for what you can take in so it's affordable by all

Review of Disco Tots
The prices were absolutely appalling and really tarnished what was meant to be a really enjoyable family day out. As soon as we gained entry we went to the bar to be told they didn't have half of the drinks advertised. As such my sister in law asked for a wine and was charged for a bottle..... a bottle of CHEAP wine, can of Budweiser and a bottle of water £45!?! How can you justify that?!?! Absolutely disgusting. I was also charged £7 for 2 CANS of 7up for my children and £6.50 for a can of Budweiser that was taken from a 4pack?! I'm pretty sure there's laws against selling items from multipacks?? We paid £30 to go on 2 rides, however there were no smaller rides for the younger children even though this event is aimed at TOTS. How is it they were unable to erect the FREE inflatables advertised due to the bad weather but were still able to charge and run 3 large rides?! Also Ian Vaan Dahl. Where was he from the main event? I purchased tickets hoping to see him but on the day he did not make it to the set listing. Again more false advertising. My children asked for a pineapple drink to which I was told £6 each or £10 for 2. In the space it took me to get money from my husband they had put the prices UP to £8.50 or 2 for £15?! For PINEAPPLES?! We ended up having to leave early as our children became hungry but we couldn't justify the extortionate food vendor prices.... £12.50 for a small tray of chips and a couple chicken selects?! This was a TOTS family event yet it was NOT catered towards TOTS in the slightest. Very disappointed and would NOT recommend! You should be ashamed.

Review of Disco Tots
There wasn’t enough seating. The pictures of last years event had twice the amount of entertainment than this year. Very disappointed with the lack of things to do with the children. The food prices were crazy and to make it worse I couldn’t bring in food that my child would actually eat. There were no bouncy castles of even people walking around interacting with the kids. Compared to last year it was very disappointing. The shuttle was useless as there was too much time between them and we had to pay for taxi on top of already paying for the shuttle because if we’d waited for the shuttle we wouldn’t have gotten into the event for over an hour. We made it in time for a shuttle but it was full and they didn’t put on extra at the busiest times. The face painting was shocking the women clearly didn’t know what they were doing and they wanted £5 for someone to paint a blob on my sons face.

Everything was great.
Glad it wasn't more wet.
Food was expensive...
And the shuttle bus was annoying, only one bus going backwards and forwards and felt like ages to wait after.. better off getting a taxi

Review of Disco Tots
As a family we had a really good time maybe could have done with a little more to occupy smaller children, understandably the weather was pretty bad so for safety the bouncy castles were canceled which would have been a welcome option. As a whole experience we thought it was a good one, plenty of food options (if a little on the pricy side) ample toilets, helpful staff were all pluses for us and would definitely recommend and come back again if we get the chance to.

Review of Disco Tots
Poor event all round!!!
•inflatables for the kids cancelled( it was the only thing that was free)
• no firebreathers or real entertainment just someone walking around waving flames shaped fans
• No food or drink allowed from outside and then the prices were extortionate, £6 for small tray of chips,£10 for a bowl of pasta,£8.50 for a pineapple filled with pineapple juice,£6.50 for a can of lager, nothing available for allergy children and yet you couldn't take your own food.
• no rides for smaller children even though it was advertised as a family event,3 big rides there but costing £5-7 a go
• acts that were advertised were a no show, no phats and small,no titchy stryder, half of sweet female attitude (who done the best set of the day to be fair to her)
With 4 children the event cost us over £75 to attend, £10 for park and ride and we spent £50 in there even though we bought no food apart from in the little shop cabin which we bought a pack of cookies, chocolate fingers and mini prongles for a fiver. I would never attend or recommend to anyone!!

We have a child wheel chair user. due to the severe weather warnings and allowing the event to go ahead we weren’t able to attend. Hopefully we’ll be able to attend another event with better weather conditions.
