Review of Disco Tots
We really enjoyed the Disco Tots felt like the layout was brilliant and the music was amazing….. but unfortunately due to the weather (can’t be helped) certain things for the kids couldn’t take place inflatables and bouncy castles. I feel be prepared incase something like this happens again have a back up plan. My children enjoyed it but within a hour was bored and paying that money for an hour:(. We managed to drag it out Aslong as possible. One thing I will say was disgusting was prices of the food. We can’t take picnics in for the kids but then the food and drink prices was outrageous for a tots event. The people were lovely and friendly.

Review of Disco Tots
A great day out tickets were a good price and a great set up, but no rides suitable for younger children & bar prices were really bad £35 for a really bad bottle of wine! Good selection of food places but also expensive. Could add more seating next year? And more performers

Review of Disco Tots
The disco tents were good and the acts but, the fair rides were more suited for adults there was no activities of fair rides that were suitable for children. Alot of parents left early and took their children to the park. There was no bouncy castles or face painting. A bit let down!

Review of Disco Tots
Disco "tots" had absolutely nothing for my 3 and 5 year old. All the rides were far too big, the music was so loud it scared them, there was only 1 tent which had outdoor toys to play with which was literally all they had to do there and that consisted of them waiting to have a go of a hula hoop. Prices were disgusting - £11.50 for a gin and lemonade! The tiny shop had condoms and lube on display next to the children's sweets. We felt like this event was just the left over rubbish from the events they had put on for adults on the weekend. Floor was completely muddy. Absolute load of rubbish, will never waste my money again.

Review of Disco Tots
It was a brilliant day. We all had an amazing time. A massive shame that the rides were for adults and there were no children's there. Was also a huge shame that the inflatables weren't out. I think more fun entertainment next year, Maybe a magician? Otherwise we absolutely loved it!!!!!

Review of Disco Tots
Some of the music was great, some bits were awful there was no middle ground. The venue was great but there needed to be far more for children there. Other than a small circus tent and 3 adult rides there was nothing for them at this ‘family event’. I expected a lot more and wouldn’t rush back.

Review of Festival Of Comedy
A very good line-up, the comedians were all really funny but the night was spoiled by a few things, extortionate prices for drinks - £35 for a bottle of the worst rosé I've ever tasted! Drinks selection was so poor, no cider(despite adverts for it), no red wine, one awful lager. The food was poor and way overpriced, £9 for the nastiest & gristliest cheeseburger I've ever (partially)eaten, £14 for 2 portions of gravy and undercooked chips, 1 portion of which I had to argue to obtain despite paying for because the staff weren't communicating with each other. No information about the start times of the comedians or bus times on the website & the shuttle buses travelling back and forth not enough for the amount of people. Queueing for entry took too long and faced with a steward with a bit of an attitude when telling people to ensure they have their tickets ready. Could've been a really good event but the problems described above & getting rinsed by the food/drinks providers, along with the food itself, left a really bad taste in my mouth, I won't be attending again.

Review of Disco Tots
Absolutely no way would I call this festival disco tots.
Aside from a small circus tent that was overcrowded (and was taken up by a queue for balloons the majority of the time) due to nothing else to do there was no entertainment for little ones. The free inflatables advertised weren’t up due to wind but there wasn’t any wind at all! The fairground advertised was not suitable for children.
I’m not sure why they think a shisha tent would be suitable for a children/family festival either l…..
The music times were different to advertised and the same songs were played all day by various djs so it just felt everything was replayed. The main act
didn’t turn up but this wasn’t announced - even Security didn’t know about it when being asked.
There weren’t any baby changing facilities.
The rules and regulations were ridiculously strict for a family festival - a4 sized bags (how are you supposed to bring spare clothes, nappies etc in this size bag especially when wet/muddy weather?) no outside food to come in - very difficult with food / dietary requirements and a lack of advertising what food would be available. Tried to contact the organisers on Instagram and Facebook with no reply and then contact page on the website didn’t work. People being told not to being prams to a family festival.
Last minute travel information being posted / messaged on the day itself isn’t good enough for planning.
Very disappointing and wouldn’t waste money on this again. A lot to be learned by the organisers.

Review of Disco Tots
The main act didn't turn up and we weren't told so everyone just hung around waiting. It was marketed for children but the event was for adults. A shish tent at a kids festival? A lot of the acts just repeated the same DJ set. Absolutely nothing for children to do. The name 'Disco tots' is incredibly misleading.

Unfortunately as a ‘disco tots’ I don’t think the event was for children, the music was hardcore dance, there were no sweet stalls, no rides for small children and nothing for the little children todo. My child spent 5 hours in her pram

Review of Festival Of Comedy
This was the first time I had attended a Skiddle Event, It was a great evening all the comedians were in good form. The shuttle bus from Newport Station to the event and the return was easy and very well organised. The cost of the tickets was good value for money. Plenty of food options and the porta loos were many, would certainly do this again.

Review of Disco Tots
I am extremely disappointed with our experience at 'Disco Tots' Myself and many others who were also there, feel that it was missold to us. I understand that the inflatables were unavailable due to the 'wind' however there was absolutely nothing else that was appealing to young children. Considering the event was aimed at 'tots' there was not one ride my 2 young children could go on.
One of the performers was blatantly rapping/singing about drugs, which parents' were clearly not happy about.
As we were looking around for something to entertain our children, we stumbled upon a 'shisha tent'. Again, clearly aimed at adults! Why on earth would there be a shisha tent' at a children's event? I can safely say, we will not be returning again and would advise anyone with young children, to save themselves £65+ and not bother.

Review of Disco Tots
We had a fantastic time once we finally got through the gates. I think a little more planning needed to go into the transport and entry. I was very shocked at the prices of things, I understand everything is extortionate at the moment but you couldn't find food for less than £10 unless a handful of chips with crumbled feta cheese is enough to fill you up. Despite that the music and atmosphere was great.
I will say considering this was a family event, aimed at families with younger children hence the disco 'tots' none of the fun fayre rides were child friendly and there was definitely a lack of entertainment to keep them busy, apart from a little tent filled with some circus equipment like hoola hoops and diablos.
Leaving the event was easy enough until we were faced with joining a long queue for the shuttle bus for park and ride which was also the queue for the bus to the trainstation. Whichever turned up one man in a high vis would shout whichever it was and it seemed to be a free for all of whoever could get to the front first. Zero order at all, which when you have a tired 11 month old on your hands is not ideal at all.
Again a little more planning and organising and this event would have been 5 star!

Review of Festival Of Comedy
The actual event was amazing, not often you get to see such a wonderful number of comedians in one night.
Getting in was not very well organised as there was an extremely short window between getting in and the entertainment starting. The queuing system also just seemed to be random with one line constantly being filtered through while others didn’t move. Despite being about half way down the queue when the gates opened we were nearly the last to enter as the other lines continually got let through. We had planned to get some food and drink but had to wait until later for food. Although the bar was fairly quick and easy (apart from when the iPad broke and we ended up waiting for nearly 10mins) the prices were extortionate.
We will definitely be back next year but I just hope the entrance procedure can be addressed.

Review of Disco Tots
We had a good few how’s hours and my children enjoyed it. The only this I was disappointed is that there wasn’nt much for the kids to do, it was just a music tent, some rides which my children were to young to go on so there was nothing there for toddlers to do really, which was disappointing. I would recommend it to friends with older children but I won’t be returning
