Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
This event was sold as a family friendly event, however apart from 2 fairground rides which were too extreme for my young daughter, there was nothing for children to do. Only 3 food stalls, resulting in 1hr 40min queues. 30 to 45 minute wait between acts with no other entertainment on site, was at times mind numbingly droll. Would not recommend.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
I travelled 2 hours to Norwich from Essex and paid £40 in petrol as well as booking an Aur BnB for £68, on top of the ticket price (2 tickets). This was an extremely expensive weekend, since the festival was so shockingly badly organised that I had to find other things to do on a Sunday in Norwich instead. Most things in Norwich are closed on Sundays, so I ended up at the cinema. I could have done that at home and saved myself almost £150.
There was absolutely no information about the bands, or the timetabling of performers, or the food available. Even on the Facebook page, there was zero information and many people complaining. There was a huge queue to get in whilst the better tribute bands were playing. With only 3 food trucks, no water, poorly placed gazebos and no screens this event was a shambolic mess! People had to be there the full 10 hours if they were hoping to see a particular act, as there was NO listing/performance order, or even a list of who would be on!! . If customers had wanted to see the Fleetwood Mac tribute for example they'd have wasted their whole day as some (previously advertised) acts were not there!! The pathetic number of food trucks and insistence that you could not bring in food or drinks meant TWO HOURS queue to just get over-priced pizza. That's 2 hours of standing in a queue and missing acts - possibly the one , two or three that you actually went to see. But who knows - maybe you already missed seeing the Bowie tribute while you were in the long queue to get in!!
The absolute worst organised event I have ever been to, and I spent the whole weekend and a week's wages on being there!!

We left early as we were so hungry, the queues for food were ridiculous!
You should have allowed us to take a picnic if you can't go to the trouble of hiring more food outlets.
A bottle of c**e for £8!!
I know you need to make a profit but that is outrageous.
There was no consideration for children, surely you could have had ice cream and snacks for them.
Overall a very disappointing afternoon.
Regards
Janice

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
We had VIP tickets which were worthless as no room to sit in that area, couldn't see the stage the toilets absolutely stunk. Moved to main area, queued for over 40 minutes at one of only 3foid stands which is ridiculous when you have all those people and not allowed to take your own food in, yet alone a drink. Very embarrassing when there was 18 of us. Feel we should have a refund

The selection of artists I believe was generally good the venue was fine.
The downside hardly any signage to tell you where to actually go and they promised plenty of food availability but there wasn't all cues or an excess of an hour for food and the space between the artists was far too long although you still didn't have time to get food in between this gap.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
The bands were ok, but not great except ABBA. The venue could have been set up better by putting the fair ground rides away from the stage so the noise of their loud music did not interfere with the bands on stage. There was only three food places catering for the whole venue. There were no ice cream vans, crisps or sweets offered in these. As you are there for a long time people would have liked to snack. We were told you could bring in empty water bottles to fill and you were expected to do this by two water butt containers! How long had that water been sitting in them and was it even clean. There was no listings anywhere on site of the line up for the day. Waited for the final act Queen and he sounded has if you had just dragged him in from the pub. Granted he was a lookalike and that was about it. No advertising as to where we could park for the venue either. In all a complete shambles.

This was the most badly organised event I have ever been to. No one knew the line up; VIP area had a very poor view of the stage; no food allowed in yet only 3 food vendors on site. Wait for pizza was 2 hours! No parking information or directions; parking permit £7 when cost for parking was actually £1. I am still waiting for my refund. Left early to get food. I will avoid any Skiddle events in the future.

Good day out, but there were some flies in the ointment:
1. There were 2 queues - VIP and Standard. No info which one is which, no steward to direct into the right queue.
2. Artist were allocated 1 hour slot on stage, with 30 mins bewteen them. They often finished 10-15 mins early, so stage was empty for up to 45 mins. What for?
3. Some artist finished early, so obviously they have not enough sonds in their repertoire. Why not have them for just 30 mins? And have more of the acts.
4. Time between artists (up to 45 mins) was wasted - nothing happened. There was some music coming, but very quiet, no entertainment.
5. There was no list for preformers. No info who would be on stage and when. Then ~10 min before the next performer was announced.
6. There were just 3 food vendors. And queues with >100 people in there. And plenty of empty space for more vendors. Why the organisers did not invide more food vendors?
I hope that these issues are sorted before next years one. Otherwise I would be going somewhere else.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
I Purchased VIPs tickets it was supposed to prevent queueing and able to be in the VIP area with seats provided bar toilets and more! Non VIP persons had 3 lanes opened to gain entry whilst VIP only had 1 lane. Their entry was short whilst we queued for over an hour and a half! So many persons had brought VIP tickets so the VIP area was full so we ended up having to sit on grass in main area! I understand only 15 deck chairs had been provided ! If I had know I would have taken my chairs! The food vans were a joke only 3 for the amount of persons so again long queues. The music was great apart from the spice girls they were good when singing as a group but individual they were awful. In all it was a very disorganised venue. I hope next time the events will be organised better as the poor guys working there were getting so much grief from all those that purchased VIP tickets.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
Terrible. Expensive. VIP tickets a joke, caged in like animals with no view and near stinking toilets. Took over 2 hours to get a pizza!! Not enough food vendors and the 3 that were there were under staffed. Drink selection poor and overpriced. Male staff on entrance very hostile and rude, but the Lady who I assume was in charge was very nice. Just a very disappointing event which was not very well organised. Will not be attending again.

The set up was absolutely horrendous! I can't believe for a family event they never advertised that people can take in chairs or tables, no line up released, only 3 food vendors that have over a 60 minute queue for each all day!
Paid for VIP on 2 separate bookings (4 tickets in total) and there wasn't a seat, a sheltered area, no food vendors and less options for drinks then the other bar, it was like being stuck in a caged pen! The toilets didn't have running water half the day and no sanitiser to even use! I think people should be offered money back for this poor set up. The VIP fast track had a longer wait to enter then the general admission and even the event staff said the set up was embarrassing

I think my review is going to be the Same as many others. No information prior to event about parking and not enough food options (would have been so much better to have been allowed to bring own food)
Too long between acts, VIP area a bit of a joke as no room (what a waste of money that was)!
Lovely venue but could have been so much better

Sadly the organisation and planning let this event down. When we arrived there was a queue to get in. We were all told yo then move so they could put the barriers out. This should have been done well before. On your website I checked about food and drink. Nothing was mentioned and then told you were not allowed to take anything in. An unopened bag of haribos was confiscated. Yet others were allowed sandwiches etc.
Bags were excessively searched, which was an invasion of privacy .
More than at an airport.
We had VIP tickets yet the area they had sectioned off was behind a 6 foot cage and you could not see the full stage it was a view on the side and you felt penned in.
Not being allowed food and drink in, it was a real shame that only 3 food stalls were available. Not enough when you queued for 2 hours.
Finally the toilets were disgusting. Smelt awful, ran out of water to wash hands etc and bins etc were cleaned. Nothing else was.
