Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
Terrible, we left after half an hour
After looking forward to a lovely afternoon in the sun listening to music we were greated with a stage in a hangar and 3 junk food trucks - nothin healthy to eat and a ban on bringing food in
Not even a scrap of grass to sit on outside
Hated the vibe, hated the venue, we left so we didn't ruin another minute of our lives

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
Booked an outdoor tribute festival only to turn up and find out its in a shed on concrete. Sound was only okay if right near the front. Half the act advertised had changed with no details communicated before the event.

Bands were good. The waltzers rides spoilt the whole, afternoon outside .Blasting, music out.you couldn't,hear anybands outside with that on.Alot of people said about it.It was meant to be a festival not a,noisy fairground won't go next time if that is there.

Didnât know what the line up was till we got in there but bands were good but didnât like that we were stuck inside a big warehouse instead of outside in the sunshine and the drinks were very expensive. Wonât be going next year thatâs for sure.

Would have preferred the event to have been outside because the building it was held in did not do the music any justice. Sounded much better when we sat outside but then we didn't visually see the performances

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
We did not expect to be inside a metal barn. The sound quality was dreadful. There was no ice cream or doughnuts (limiting the family friendly vibe). There were half the bands than were advertised so our Fleetwood Mac and Coldplay fans were disappointed. We loved the Spice Girls (not on the advertising). Only VIPs could go close to the stage which limited most peoples fun as v restricted view. Parking was another £10 on top of ticket price.
If the stage ad been ouside and we could've had a sugar fix we'd probably have give it 4 stars all round.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
Arrived with VIP tickets to find it was an indoor cavernous barn with an outdoor VIP area in a car park. Dreadful setting and poor sound quality. We had expected an outdoor afternoon on a field, so a really poor substitute. The acts were poor and the food and drink a complete rip off. The toilets were tiny in the VIP area and were soon covered in urine from leaking urinals. I came away early feeling that I'd been had, as did many who left early. Apparently the beer ran out by 5.30pm, at a 'festival ' that ran until after 10pm. This is certainly something that I will not be revisiting in future years. I'd be amazed if they do it again.

Really poor festival. Not as advertised. Was advertised as outdoor but was inside a shed with terrible sound quality.
Half of the advertised bands didn't play.
Spent the day sat in a car park listening to speakers.
Definitely do not recommend this and won't book again

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
So disappointed this year! Last year was brilliant, had such a great vibe, loads of different food vendors to choose from. This year seemed like a complete budget version despite a slight increase in ticket price. only a couple of food options, stage inside ruined the festival vibe. We only stayed an hour and left early because of this.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
I first came to this event in 2023 when it was held outside the atmosphere and sound were so much better, this year they held inside, a lot of people ended up sitting outside missing the whole event inside and for those of us who came prepared for an outdoor event with chairs and blankets it felt very disappointing, also it was very crowded as the day progressed on the inside and you felt like twe was sat on top of one another. then due to everyone coming in later on inside getting very hot. last year's was souch better. the music and bands were great it's just a shame that Inside it ruined the sound.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
Firstly, the artist running order was very different to what was being advertised, even on a Facebook post the day before, the list of artists wasn't accurate.
Secondly, the venue was in a huge metal cattle prefab shed even though it was a beautiful sunny day. At no point was it advertised as being an indoor event. Luckily we had chairs with us but lots of people had only bought a blanket to sit on, assuming it would be outside on the grass not on a dirty concrete floor. The sound quality wasn't good and it was hot and oppressive inside the cattle shed.
Thirdly, I understand not allowing your own drinks and food in the venue if you are supplying a good variety of food and drink options for the 10 hours the event was on. Chips, burgers or pizza in my view wasn't enough. If anyone wanted a more 'healthy' option, there wasn't anything!
Lastly, where was it mentioned that aerosols weren't permitted? I had a small body spray taken from me when I arrived as apparently it wasn't allowed. When we left at 7pm (to get something decent to eat) I asked security for my spray to be returned but was told everything goes in the big wheelie bin they had handily placed. The bands were good but the whole event was not as advertised and lacking in any information to be able to make an informed choice as to whether to book tickets or not and what to bring for a potential 10 hour stay.
Very poor is me and my party's assessment of the whole event and lots of others we spoke to.
