Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
The day was great, the music was fantastic however we purchased VIP tickets, which was a complete waste of money. The VIP area was a penned off area with tall metal fencing that ruined the view for the stage. We spent the whole time in the normal area. Never before have we paid for VIP and had worse area than general admission.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
Great day out and music was good fun, good location and parking easy (although expensive for field parking and nobody even checked our ticket!).
Communication amongst staff running the venue seemed inconsistent, and after finding a great place to sit, approx 4 hours into the event some young boys decided to set up a table in front of us to try to maximise their alcohol sales, even though festival goers were told they couldn't stand there. We felt this was unfair as a queue then formed in front of where we were sitting and they blocked the emergency exit! Thankfully they were moved after a short while due to the emergency exit but not without being very rude and obnoxious to all concerned.
We took a picnic of healthy snacks due to health/dietary requirements but were not allowed to take it in or leave the venue once you had entered to be able to eat this. 10 hours is a long time to go with just 'junk' food on offer , especially for families!- the food on offer was all fried/unhealthy. Perhaps next year they could use local suppliers and cater with a better selection of foods not just unhealthy options? We noticed that some families did have picnics with them...was there one rule for 1 and 1 rule for others? This didn't seem fair. Could all be clearly clarified for future events?
We went back to the car before entering and had our picnic (which seemed to be the case for quite a few people) and we had a good family day out.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
Great line up. Sound was patchy in parts. Don't bother with VIP tickets. Only benefit is decent loos. Seating is behind a wire fence so better visuals of you buy the regular tickets. Wish we were told no food or drink allowed before we arrived. £10 car parking excessive. Even with the above issues we had a great time.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
Very disappointing. Didn't know of £10 parking fee and that no food nor drink allowed in. Had VIP ticket but still had to queue to get in. When I spoke to someone at the entrance about these points I was told I should have looked at Save the Rave webpage. I am 70 years of age so why would I look at that site? Once inseide the food/drinks were quite pricy and the VIP area was very disappointing, at an angle away from the stage, so a side view through a metal fence. Most of us went into the main area to get a decent view of the artists. Re the artists, I have seen several tribute bands and only Ultimate 40 had the standard of sound/vocals. Some acts their vocals did not come across strong enough. Sorry, will not be attending again.

Very overpowering attitude searches, not able to take own food, not able to leave venue and come back model might work in cities but not when being held in Cornwall out door events are usually friendly with great atmosphere not this one

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
After being held in the queue in the sun for way too long we were finally subjected to a bag search, after the bag search a man with a metal detector scanned my bag and wanted to see what was in there even though it had just been searched! The VIP area was a joke, you could only see the stage through a Harris fence. The bar was useless with a very limited selection at extortionate prices. The food was the same as the bar, we had noodles which were nothing more that dry noodles in soy sauce again at an extortionate price! There was nowhere to leave things that weren't allowed in which is ridiculous and they didn't let you know the running order until part way through the day, would definitely not recommend

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
The music got better and better, however it was a lot smaller than expected, a programme should have been sent out before as well as a notification telling guests that you can't take in your own food or drink. Also, no non alcoholic beverages for my friend apart from soft drinks which isn't fair and no where to fill up water bottles. Not great.
