Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
Lovely friendly festival and the music was brilliant.
Downside, I have never had to pay parking for any previous events at the Showground, so £10 on the gate seemed a bit steep on top of ticket price.
Being told there's a "no return" policy on the gate was surprising, again never had this at any event and being able to pop back to the car for whatever reason should not be an issue.
Yes, drinks were too expensive, food offering was pretty good but only having tiny cartons of UHT milk for tea and coffee is ridiculous - get a proper coffee van in next time, or let the other food outlets sell hot drinks.

We had a really good time. The bands were fantastic and enthuastic. The venue was good, and its set-up great. Ample food and drink stands. Free water available. I'd go again next year.

Staff were rude and unhelpful.
Ice cream van parked right in the middle of venue obstructing lots of peoples view.
Once in you weren't allowed to leave and return unless very good reason ,wristband or stamps could easily have sorted this.
Weren't allowed to take any of your own food in at all (can accept this) but it wasn't mentioned anywhere beforehand when booking or on signs anywhere.
Male urinals were on clear show behind the porta loos so you could see everything!

VIP section was a joke, fenced off to the side of stage, £6 for a can of drink, £12 for rubbish dirty fries which were basically cheesy chips, save your money guys don't go! Worst queen tribute I think I've ever heard

Artists were good and entertaining- Parking charge way too much money - amusement rides too much money - not as many acts performed as advertised - not enough varied food/drinking options - no signage/poor availability for access to drinking water.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
The festivals website stated dogs were welcome anywhere apart from the main arena. On arrival we were refused entry with our dog. We showed them evidence from their web site stating dogs allowed. It took 45 minutes for the authority from the manager to advise that yes we could enter with our dog. I spoke to several other dog owners who were at the concert and they had not been challenged at all. So we felt picked upon!

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
The main thing I would say about this event is it was just very average. I'm guessing a national event company, with no interest in image created.
No real atmosphere. Stage was small and uninspiring. A bit like you might expect to find at a community event. Felt a bit sorry for the artists to be honest.
Prices as you expect, not cheap, but not extortionate. Food uninspiring. Probably would have been better if you could bring your own picnic and make more of a family day. Great opportunity to promote local food and drink but not taken at all. Choice of drinks very limited and expensive. No obvious tea, coffee, snacks ... just fast food.
Very disappointing and we left before 6pm as did many others.
