Review of Summer Love Reading
Loved every minute, slight delay in opening, one food van wasn’t ready for customers and still wasn’t almost 3 hours later (I never went back after that). Bands were amazing sound could have been better, seemed to be some issues with all the acts. The Dualers are my favourite but all the others were excellent.
Hoping it happens again next year, I’ll definitely book to go again, and I have friends that were gutted they missed out.
Well done to all involved with putting on this event.

I would never go there again. We were only allowed to buy vouchers at £10 a time and most things cost £6, always leaving us with £4 left over unable to spend on anything. All of the people I went with thought it was a rip off. How come some people could buy £16 tickets and others had to pay £33 for the same thing, and some of our friends got in for nothing! Absolute rip off. Music should have been on a stage and not inside a tent. £6.00 for a can of lager! £6.00 for a burger! No wonder it was easy to get to the bar! We left early. So unhappy about the whole experience. Never again! Who made the rule that you had to buy £10 of vouchers? when they were on strips at a £1 each

Maidstone was a much better set up with you knowing when the bands are playing. Music was only ok with a poor sound.
Enjoyed the day out but in compassion to Maidstone Summer love I found this venue less enjoyable

I had high expectations for this event which sadly were not met. The ticketing system was terrible, I understand the reason behind it but it resulted in us wasting a lot of money on un-used tickets due to the £10 minimum purchase level. I can’t help but feel this was a money making scheme by the organisers. There was also a lack of atmosphere due to no traders/stalls at the event. Just a lot of people stood around getting very drunk. The advertising for this event made my think it would be a lot better than it actually was
