Review of Sign of the Times
Sadly the torrential rain compounded the experience however there were still many things that made the experience zmvery poor. Glamping r right next to general camping which meant a large group of late teens kept the other campers awake for most of the night , their camper van alarms going off loud music screaming and shouting - other festivals have security to help stop this type of anti social behaviour. Camping / glamping right next to a busy main road so traffic noise extremely annoying . 4 toilets for glamping with over 130 plus people toilets dirty mud covered in bottom end of the field with only access from one side due to position of guy ropes and generators . Bridge to main field exceptionally dangerous after the rain several people slipped badly . VIP Area dirty toilets no running water again dangerous as deep mud slippy and water logged . Big top too close to main stage causing sound clash issues because the running order over lapped . Car park totally unsafe after first day of rain . Due to very weak WiFi signal it was very difficult to purchase food from the vendors and the variety and qualify of food was very poor . We were really looking forward to this event and had been reassured that there had been improvements made from the previous year based on the web page claims - if this is the case I can't imagine what it was like the previous year . We are regularly festival attendees and SOTT was not our first time experience however we would not recommend SOTT based on our experience this weekend as there is a huge improvement needed

Review of Sign of the Times
Had the best time at Sign of the Times festival. The line ups were absolutely fantastic, the crowd and staff friendly. The venue is great but only four stars due to all the mud and difficulty getting van out which was due to huge amount of rain over the weekend. If organisers could be a little more organised on opening times at the gates and wet weather contingency that would be fab. Either way its going on my calendar as a regular festival each year now - THANK YOU !

Review of Sign of the Times
This is a great festival if you're a music lover, but unfortunately the Rains came and it turned into a mud bath and we decided to leave early for fear of getting stuck in the mud trying to leave the campsite. The Management still need to up their game with regards to camping facilities. We were in a Camper Van and there was no Fresh Water or showers. We brought plenty of drinking water, but there were a lot of people complaining. Apparently there were showers near the entrance to the arena, but these were an add on which we would have been happy to pay, but it wasn't clear or obvious when we bought our tickets that we would need an additional wrist band to access. Always room for improvement

No water at top of hill for camper vans and no warning of hill walk before booking. Very sparce security and nobody available to direct you to exit the camper van site. The music in big top was so loud and not only was it distorted for the bands but also drowning out the sound from the main stage terribly, thus spoiling the overall sound from the main stage.

Review of Sign of the Times
The arena and music (depending on taste) are good. Last year the atmosphere was brilliant and we had no hesitation rebooking.
The live in vehicle camping is at the top of the hill and although there are toilets, the water point is at the bottom of the hill by the arena.
This year the weather had a negative impact and there seemed to be no real plan. We left on Saturday morning because after a day of rain it was obvious that getting off the field in a vehicle was only going to get worse. Judging by comments on social media by those who stayed, we made the right decision.

The festival looked great but the weather abysmal. Sadly the festival lost the battle with the rain. It was worse than any Glastonbury I've ever attended in terms of mud. People were falling over and cars struggling to get in and out of the car park. You really need to take steps to deal with heavy rain - have tracks, straw etc.

We've been previously and always had a fab time there. Unfortunately this year, due to Covid, we couldn't attend. The pictures online though showed them having an amazing few days. We hope to make it next year

Great little festival, despite atrocious weather this year. Motorhome camping at the top of the hill this year but access to fresh water was right down at the bottom which was disappointing, and no black waste disposal after Thursday night (despite this being advertised). Music lineups fabulous and staff helpful and friendly as always. Will definitely return but hope the weather will be kinder next time!

Review of Sign of the Times
The place was a mud bath which can't be helped given the variables of the Great British Summer. The music and atmosphere were great.
What marred the weekend was that there was a lack of stewarding and information and no contingency plans for the rain with regards to parking.
We travelled 200 miles to get there and parked the first day but when we tried to leave that night, there was no one or even any signs telling us how to exit the site.
It was also disconcerting to wake up on Saturday morning to find posts from the organisers asking people not to bring their cars and make alternative arrangements instead when the festival was advertised as having parking - when you're not local, your chances of being able to arrange an alternative are slim.
