Review of Riverside Arts Jazz - Simon Allen
Fantastic saxophonist with a rich watm tone and great mastery. This venue is a real oasis for jazz in the area. Hats off to Terence Collie for keeping superb jazz alive in Sunbury even u der these ridiculous lockdown conditions.

Review of Tommaso Starace - Tribute to Michel Petrucciani
In spite of the fact that I'm not particularly a fan of Michel Petrucciani's music, this was a very enjoyable gig. Fortunately the choice of compositions meant that some of MP's more tepid material was avoided which, coupled with a number of less obvious covers, such as Bobby Timmons' "This Here", provided a very varied set. Great playing by guest alto man Tommaso (sometimes called Tomato apparently !), Hampton's favourite keyboard player, Terry C. and a very impressive Anglo-Italian rhythm section, topped off by Tommasso's very amusing banter. Can't wait for the next one.

Review of Riverside Arts Jazz
I’m a regular at this monthly jazz event. Always a good night. This particular evening was old school very melodic jazz featuring Alan Barnes on reeds, with an excellent rhythm section. Lots of humour from Alan and nice Christmas vibes and free mince pies

Review of Riverside Arts Jazz
Quite a coup for Mood Indigo to book the great Alan Barnes as the guest horn player for Christmas and he didn't disappoint running through a nice variety of standards backed by Hampton's favourite pianist, Terry Collie, and a star rhythm section. Maybe a little sedate for my personal taste but presumably the theory was not to upset punters in a festive mood with anything too adventurous. Nevertheless an excellent evening's entertainment enlivened by Alan's wonderful banter and mulled wine and mince pies provided by our hosts. Thorougly recommended.
