Usual excellent show put on by Terry and Janet, and Jim Mullen needs no introduction as one of Britain's finest guitarists. Nice balance of ballads and more uptempo numbers and the main set was finished off superbly by a wonderful, jazzy version of the University Challenge theme tune !

We haven't seen Jim Mullen for a number of years but he is still as great as ever. My partner used to go and see Morrissey-Mullen every week and they were his favourite band at that time . I could not believe how cheap the tickets were at the Riverside and the venue is really good. It was very crowded but a good atmosphere.

Wonderful jazz gig! Audience very warmly received by Terence and Janet, and the music was fantastic!
The venue was warm, seating comfortable and the relaxed layout meant everyone got to sit with who they came along with, despite it being sold out.

Very impressed with Mood Indigo Events and the quality of music they put on. Jim Mullen was on form, and there was a lovely rapport with the band throughout. Great night out!

Totally amazing playing by all, in a friendly atmosphere. Ticket price is an absolute bargain for such top notch jazz. Lovely that there was a nice crowd this evening - jazz lovers all need to keep supporting live jazz and Mood Indigo Events always has a brilliant line up to enjoy.

let down by poor venue; lighting wrong; seating too formal; sound balance favoured the bass and drums;
pianist excellent; front line so-so particularly the tenor.

Terry and Janet just keep on doing it: top quality jazz in a nice intimate/cosy setting and last night (10 Dec) with free mulled wine and mince pies ! Great turnout in spite of the weather and major roadworks outside. And next month they've already lined up one of the all-time great British jazz and rock guitarists in Jim Mullen. It's a no brainer: get down to the RAC on 7 Jan. 2018.

A great evening of Blue Note. The weather was cold outside but inside it was warm, friendly and the music was great. If you haven't been to one of these monthly sessions yet, make a New Year's resolution and try it.
