Review of Riverside Arts Jazz - John Etheridge
I went with friends and we had a great night. Management and the staff were welcoming and a lovely bar and lounge area. Mr Etheridge was extremely entertaining. His playing outstanding as usual but he went that one step further to engage with his audience and good to see a musician that smiles. The members of the band also very good and how lovely to hear a double base. Well done to all at the Riverside and thank you Mr Etheridge.

Review of Riverside Arts Jazz - John Etheridge
Astonishing virtuosity from a world-class guitarist and Very Nice Chap. Excellent trio backing him.
This is a lovely venue and really should be better known. It's a good size, with friendly staff and low bar prices.
More music there please!

Review of Riverside Arts Jazz - John Etheridge
Terrific fun, relaxed and entertaining. John was on top form and his musicianship completely engaging as usual. Terence's trio held things together tightly and contributed many delightful solos. It was such a pleasure being able to support a local venue that hosts such excellent musicians. More, please!

Review of Riverside Arts Jazz - John Etheridge
Astonishing evening's music.
JE was in particularly fine form and clearly enjoying himself with a set of classics from the standards songbook.
The interplay between him and the band was remarkable for a scratch outfit and there were great solos from everyone.

Review of Riverside Arts Jazz - Tribute to Stan Getz
Very enjoyable show, which captured the spirit of Stan Getz and his music very well. Ruth Hammond did a great job of communicating her enthusiasm for the music to the audience and provided helpful background on the original source of the music. Great sax playing by Ruth, fine rhythm section and Terry was superb on piano as usual.

Review of Sara Dowling sings Nancy Wilson
The event included a balanced and varied mix of Nancy Wilson songs and also some other favourites that added to the variety of the evening. The potted history history of Nancy Wilson's life and recording career was an added bonus. As usual the level of musicianship from each and every one of the performers was superb. In all a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Review of Sara Dowling sings Nancy Wilson
Another great evening from the Mood Indigo team, maintaining their 100% hit rate.
Both the singer and most of the band were new to the Riverside, but after this session they'll certainly be welcomed back.
Sara Dowling gave a bravura performance of Nancy Wilson songs and arrangements - as well as some of her own favourites from the classic songbook.
All the band played some great solos in support of the spot on vocals.
So, thanks once again to T&J for providing an incredible evening of music at the Riverside.
Just a shame a few more people weren't there to enjoy it.
