Review of Crooked House In The Park 2024
Still awaiting my refund from my wrist band, they still have approx £70 of my money. Despite sending emails as asked. Follow up emails have been ignored. Facebook posts removed so no way to contact. Also I get drugs is part of the dance culture but never seen so many in all my years clubbing, certainly first time I've seen the staff openly taking drugs during an event.

Where do I start?? Unorganised chaos - If I was a Lichfield resident i'd be mortified to have these people run an event. Toilets - think they were transferred from another festival, as soon as we arrived they were a disgrace, poo, used condom's, sick you name it was there, people coming out and being sick from the smell.. no sanitiser, the flush systems were not working. Bar staff, some good but mostly bad, rude, and over charging people. No water station that was clearly labeled, rubbish everywhere as there were no bins, people falling over gas canisters in the tents. Drinks wayyyyyyyy overprices, can i s**tty cider 7.50 - wine 8.50 was charged onto my wristband also. Now the fun part... trying to get a refund from the wristbands are a joke, they used a system that was through payola for us to upload our money, now trying to get money back is impossible.. they are saying that it is the system called wise which is different, they have asked for personal details to pay money back which is shifty. Personally think they have just scammed us all and we wont be getting a refund. People have complained to trading standards and the council. For local business people, I think they have been so silly to do this.

Wristband system is a joke, 4 of us are still waiting for a refund which I don’t think we will get! Owners are just trying to fob us off, absolutely disgusting way to run a business. Toilets were vile, used condoms & vomit inside for the whole time we were there. No organisation at all

I went VVIP, absolutely n different to the VIP tickets. Still, only 2 female toilets in that area, one of which had vomit in for the whole day, indicating they were not maintained throughout the event, had to use paper towels from the gents toilets later on as no paper in females.
The purchasing of drinks wristbands prior to event was an absolute waste of time as I still had to queue for 40 minutes to get it activated
Cashless event, however intermittent Wi-Fi, so they were prioritising cash payment over wristbands at some points
No accessible facilities in VVIP area
If you're going, just get a standard ticket and you'll get better value for money

This year has let people down big time especially with what seems like a cashless wristband scam. To claim your unused credit back you must email over your card number, bank details, name and address which we all know will put people off reclaiming their unused credit as it seems a little scammy, not to mention turning comments off on all of their social media posts regarding the 'technical issue' which has caused them to process all refunds manually which you must apply for between a 48 hour window. We wouldn't have to put so much money on the wristbands if it wasn't £3.50 for a can of lemonade!
