Review of Beacon Park
Overall the atmosphere and vibe was good. I enjoyed the music and location, however there are a few things that could be improved. The first one is that we struggled to find any water for drinking. The bars didn’t stock water to buy and there was no access to free water to drink. The queues for the bars were horrendously long, and the pre paid system for drinks credits didn’t always work, extra time going back and forth trying to top up and resolving credits that didn’t go through. This became a bit of hassle. A nice security guy gave me a bottle of water, however he couldn’t tell me where I could get my own from.
The toilets also left a lot to be desired, we had vip and the queues and condition of these were worse than the regular loos so it wasn’t worth the extra money. The site also got really dirty.
Review of Crooked House In The Park 2024
Found this years event to be totally disorganised, the event should have opened at 11am and no staff where at the doors till nearly 12pm team talks still taking place. Scanners not working finally went in an hour late. Choice of bars was very few compared to last year. Some bars had no card machines to take payment so couldnt get certain drinks.
Toilets were absolutely horrendous after only an hour & seemed very few again compared to last year.
Overall disappointing won't be coming next year.

Fantastic event, 2nd year attended and enjoyed it. Bit of a nightmare getting wristbands activated and drinks prices scandalous but line up amazing, great atmosphere, great crowd, great venue.

Review of Crooked House In The Park 2024
Crooked house as good as last year, loved the music, loved the atmosphere of it all. The music was great but the performances with it were better last year such as the fire, confectionery cannons.
The only issue was getting the money wrist band started they staff were struggling to get signal to do card payments but then asking for cash when no-one brought cashless due to it being a cashless event, but then the ride were cash only bit odd, I'd start advertising cash and card event

Review of Crooked House In The Park 2024
This was such an amazing event two years ago, last year it slumped, this year it dive bombed to downright appalling.
Terrible cashless bar system. Even when working. And this year it wasn't. Horrendous queues over an hour to redeem prepaid voucher or top up. Card top ups not working, cash only!!! Not enough reception for hand sets to work. No one sorting out the problems or the queues. No management and no communication or signage anywhere. After an hour queuing got told to go to different queues!
VIP very much NOT VIP this year, waited longer to get in than normal queue over 45 minutes. Not enough staff and no organisation or sense to move staff and tackle bottlenecks. No top ups in VIP & no staff knew where we could top up.
Poor choice of drinks. Terrible no alcohol options. No fridges anywhere. Drinks over priced. Never possible to unlock 'free 10%'. No where near enough staff especially VIP, waited over 40 minutes for drinks there too nearly every time.
VIP toilets not enough & vile from the start, more queues. Water bowsers and toilet paper were never replaced when empty. So blockages and no running water in taps for a single toilet visit. No hand sanitizer.
Terrible set clashes for the best acts.
Sound quality in House tent appalling. No vibe at all.

Review of Crooked House In The Park 2024
This definitely wasn't the vibe that all of the promo videos gave... dirty, druggie & dingy. Drinks were well overpriced £7.50 for a can of cider. Toilets were absolutely disgusting even by 1pm. The DNB tent music was on repeat - no clear difference in sets.
On the hole I wouldn't waste my money & return.
We actually left at 7pm as it wasn't enjoyable.
The venue itself was good & super easy to get to.
Security definitely didn't do their jobs - sooo many drugs & vapes which were apparently 'banned'

Review of Crooked House In The Park 2024
Awesome venue and DJs. Wrist bands for drinks are a good idea but a faff to top up and £7.50 a drink which is pricey. Would have also been a good idea to put a coach on for people coming out of the area. VIP toilets were also horrendous so not VIP money! All in all though, great day!

wasted 3 hours trying to get drinks credits put on wristbands and then 2 out of 6 of us had to go back and queue again as the credits failed to show. its a shame because everything else was good, but regret wont be coming back for this reason alone. too much dependence on poor or untested technology

Review of Crooked House In The Park 2024
We brought the VIP tickets, didnât feel like any benefit from it expect the place to sit down, the bar runs off gin at 8:30pm, have to go outside to buy no tonic water at all, selling a lot of cans beers £7.5 rip off. The moneyless thing was not good organized at all, it was our first time , so nobody remind us that we need save the money on the ticket, and the queue is massive , there is no VIP excess for it . People just squeeze in. and the toilets in VIP absolutely disgusting, no water to fresh up and always had a queue! I have been so many festivals, the toilets were the worst ever. And also we couldnât get out money back if we still have some money left on the ticket

Review of Crooked House In The Park 2024
First time at Crooked House after friends had recommend it from previous years. Not quite sure what has happened this year!
I pre bought drinks vouchers thinking it would be easierâ¦
Waited in the bar queue for about 45 minutes to be told we needed to activate the voucher somewhere else. This should have been made clearer as then we had to queue to activate it for about an hour! Then wait again in the bar queue! The technology to pay for with the wristbands was temperamental and staff were getting annoyed, it really wasnât the best.
There was only one set of toilets which quickly turned disgusting and stunk so bad. No toilet roll either. Males and female sets should have been available as females arenât as gross!!
There wasnât any litter pickers so the grounds were awful.
I am a frequent festival goer, have been for many years. This was badly organised. Too many clashes with sets as well. I would go again as itâs on my doorstep but I think there definitely needs to be changes made.
