No advertisement to say you would require to remortgage your home for a tinned can of fosters, that much so, your staff at the bar was embarrassed to even talk about how shocking your prices were. Lasted 40 minutes and left, never again.

Great DJ's and music. The pier is a perfect venue in the summer for this kind of event, the perfect backdrop. Good mix of ages too.
Only criticisms would be -
the payment for drinks, massive queues to get tickets and then massive bar queues. Prices pretty steep too. No mention of having to buy tickets on the FAQs on website.
Because the indoor arena part is right next to the main stage the sound was difficult to hear at times because you could hear the base of the other room. I realise it might be difficult to control this but whoever is in charge of the sounds/acoustics should really look into what can be done. This was especially bad when the orchestra were playing, it completely ruined some of the tunes they performed which was a massive shame as they were clearly very talented.

The price drink was ridiculous £50 for 4 drinks vouchers which means then £12.50 per drink. The mix the sound was ridiculous all you could hear was the bass. The orchestra was not miked up correctly so you could barely hear them.

Would I f**k recommended it. No idea if it was any good or not. I finished work late, not my fault, and wasn’t allowed in by the jobsworth t**ts. Ridiculous system. People who had already been in and left to get cash for the food stalls were also refused re-entry. Absolute shambles.

Great day but should have made it clear ahead of the event you would need to buy drinks vouchers and the voucher desks needed to have more card machines.

Music absolutely brilliant and atmosphere but the venue and VIP disgraceful. 4 tickets for £240 and got nothing more than normal ticket holders! Queues at bar were ridiculous and dependant in what they had they sold you, £25 for 4 drinks one being a small can of moretti. Toilet’s disgusting
Awful rip off and will never use classic events every again. Messaged them to ask what was included in VIP?? No answer!!

Paid for vip tickets. Toilets were a mess. Spent 20 mins queueing for tokens to then use these to get drinks and spent another 20 mins queueing at bar. People getting very angry. People pushing in queue. Not enough bar staff. Really poor showing.

Great set up very well organised. Little misleading when it said take cash or card but had to but drinks tokens.. otherwise fantastic.

Was really looking forward to this event after having a great day at soul on the pier last year. This event couldn’t be more different with the whole set up and very disappointed with the whole experience. We decided to upgrade our tickets to VIP which was a complete waste of money. Massive queues for the toilets and bar areas. No toilet roll in toilets and trying to get sold items as soon as coming out of the cubicle, even hand soap! No communication on entry as to purchasing drinks/ VIP areas etc. We needed to queue up to purchase drinks vouchers before queuing up to go to the bar. Poor selection of drinks served with most running out by 8pm and no ice left. The VIP garden area which was directly next to the main stage was playing music at the same time as main stage so just sounded like a mash of songs/music. We ended up leaving early as the whole thing was just a faff and no drinks left at the bar. Shocking.

Spent most of the night queuing. Only 2 foodstalls one sell hotdogs the other beefburgers. Stated in the advert they would be street food. You were unable to leave the venue once you entered so you could go out and buy a differant varity of food. Had to buy drink tokens £25 for 4 drinks. The bars ran out of drinks.

Even though emailed through to say i will be late to this event, was not allowed entry, security staff were VERY rude and aggressive, not even listening, will be making a formal complaint and expecting a refund,

I was very disappointed paying for VIP tickets to then have to que for drink vouchers and then then have to que 35 minutes to get served drinks in the VIP room every time we wanted a drink. Also the que for the lady’s VIP toilets was longer than the normal toilets. I feel the event organisers were greedy selling too many VIP tickets . There was a group of 6 of us and we was all disappointed and will not go again. I feel we was miss sold
