Review of Cardiff Bay Series x Escape presents: McFly
To far from parking. Over priced tickets for children as our and many others couldn't see due to bigger people standing in front of them. Over priced food and drinks over crowded as you kept letting people in even when the headliners were playing just so you could get the ticket sales. So would not recommend to friends with children or friends on these bases. Sickening I would describe it as just to make a fat cat fatter

It was a great event but I think the organisation of getting people in to the site could have been managed better. There was a bottle neck by the entrance where people stopped to see the stage or get merch and it made it difficult for people to get in and out. It took nearly 45 minutes for us to get in. Perhaps the layout of the site could be changed to improve flow of people. Otherwise a great night, great music and good selection of vendors etc.

Well organised and stewarded, plenty of space, clean toilets( no toilet paper) felt safe, bit of a bottleneck on way out but was fine considering the amount of people

Loved mcfly but the rest of the experience was quite disappointing. Long queues to get in and very badly organised, security being very rude and aggressive to people with no need. Food wasn't great and not enough toilets.

Review of Cardiff Bay Series x Escape presents: McFly
The music was incredible and everyone there was friendly and helpful. The food and drink was overpriced (It always is at events like this though I guess). I have a health condition which doesn't meet the criteria for an accessibility ticket as I don't claim anything for it but I found it very difficult to stand especially on concrete through the entire 6.5 hr event. I am also short at only 5 foot so as the venue is just a flat concrete area, I resigned to the fact I couldn't see. Disappointed there weren't any screens though as this usually makes up for a rubbish view of the stage.

Review of Cardiff Bay Series x Escape presents: McFly
Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. Despite the excitement leading up to the event, the overall experience was marred by poor organisation.
One of the most glaring issues was the complete absence of screens. For a venue as large and open as Cardiff Bay, you would expect screens to be available, especially for those who weren't able to get close to the stage. Without them, many of us were left straining to see the band, and it felt like we were merely listening to a distant soundtrack rather than experiencing a live concert. For an event of this scale, not providing screens is a serious oversight and one that left a lot of fans frustrated. It's a shame that what should have been an incredible night with McFly was ruined by these issues. I expected much better from an event at such a prominent location. Unless there are significant improvements in the future, I would hesitate to attend another concert organised by Escape Records.

Very long walk to the venue from drop off point for people with not great mobility is difficult. Would have been better if the venue used video screens to be able to see the artists playing as they had a humongous waste of space at the front. Music was good and not technical issues, clear to hear.

Gutted to hear that Blue Light members accessed this event for free after paying over £50 myself. The concert was brilliant, but the venue itself was a bit of a trek from the train station/taxi pick up points.
