Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
We had a fabulous time and all staff were friendly and helpful. Downside there was no alcohol after 8pm as the venue ran out and the toilets were not cleaned and stocked up regularly for the amount of people using them

Having paid for VIP tickets, the toilet facilities were appalling, the area allocated didn't have much of a stage view, the bar was poorly stocked and looked after. Better drinks choices from the main bar. Supplies of water and drinks ran out hours before the end of the event. Very poor organisation.

Was ok but ran out of lager quite early on and we were told we weren't allowed a camping chair but people had them and the music could have been a touch louder

Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival - Carlisle!
Music - Didn't by a ticket to Save the Rave because I wanted to listen to Garage music. I'd have happily missed that element (Wide Boys)
Venue location was fab but the VIP area didn't cut it. Limited ladies toilets, too few bar staff and not enough seats or tables. Also the lager selection was very limited compared to the regula bar. Bombay Sapphire Gin and proper tonic was appreciated though.
The VIP tickets was vastly overpriced for the above imho.
Great atmosphere though.

The acts were fine and the location was good but we paid extra for VIP and the loos were not kept clean the bar ran out of booze half way through the day and the prices were ridiculous. Also you could not see the stage from the VIP area.
You could not take your own drink into the venue, but this was not on the website.
I understand the stalls need to make a living but this should be made clear from the start and they should stock up with enough drink etc to last the whole event.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
Thing is...the band's were great. And the price of the festival was also great. But very very high prices for food, soft drink, alcohol and water ..which is a bit of a shame given that there is no water point, tough gig if you have children to hydrate on a hot day 😄 also the food selection was pretty diabolical.
Oh and you're stuck there, you cannot leave for any reason. So if you're there from lunch till 9.00pm, please ensure you're financially solvent. It's gonna cost you 😄

Great music, entry easy but bar facilities were very poor - over an hour left and only mixer available was tonic. Needs a rethink with regard to the bar facilities

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
Communication was not great regarding venue change of location. The prices inside were disgusting for food and drinks especially for families attending and more so to a look a like festival!!! The children's fair was 5pound a ride! Drinks bar ran out of alcohol early on. Very expensive!! Got family crisps taken off us and my daughters and my perfume, there was no correspondence to say about this that I had read to inform us this would happen.
I feel for a local event when we are in an economical recession and families/people struggling financially and moral needing lifted as to why organisers, promoters and local counsellors are not taking this into account!!
Also as a family we traveled an hour by bus to get there and had to leave early as times for the Sunday buses were either limited or cancelled.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
After purchasing the tickets the venue was changed without explanation.
Friends had travelled from Edinburgh to come to the event and when we got there people were already leaving. Security staff allowed my husband and his friend straight through. They asked to look in our bags and we both had small perfume bottles with us. Security said we could not bring them in and to either spray it all over ourselves or put it in the bin. They said we could use the perfume as a fire accelerant or weapon. I asked why, if they took security so seriously did they allow the men to walk straight through without even patting them down but they could not give me an answer they were so rude that we left.
I then spoke to other friends who had attended who had entered the event with hairspray, perfume etc so clearly the security were inconsistent. I was really disappointed to have spent money on this event and would never go to another event organised by this company.

What a disappointment! The venue changed from race course to Bitts Park (which is obviously a lovely setting) but the set-up wasn't great. The VIP area had a poor view of the stage. The drink & food prices were astronomical. There wasn't anywhere selling decent soft drinks or nice coffee. Huge let down compared to similar tribute festivals. We left mid way through the Spice Girls as they were diabolical. Our plan was to go for a walk in the park, grab a coffee and then head back in to see other acts but we were informed that if we left we wouldn't be allowed back in. We left anyways! If it wasn't for the atmosphere generated by the other festival goers we would probably have left sooner. Definitely won't be booking again.

Great value tickets.
Being used to food and drink prices in the South, we didn't think these were too bad, although several drinks ran out by 17:00!!
VIP area was very poor, we had a much better view and were less crowded in the main area.
Loos were awful, no paper, soap (which soon ran out) but no water.
Very unclear where the pre-paid parking was, just found by chance.
We were clearly told about the change of venue.
Great atmosphere, some good acts, some missing from the list, a dodgy replacement. Would have been great to have had some of my questions answered.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
We had a really good day, but.... we were in the VIP area, was too small and felt trapped in, there was more selection of drink in the public area and not enough tables and benches, for the Size of Bitts Park the size of the event was squashed into one little corner, could've been alot bigger. A few acts cancelled and too long of a wait in between acts that were on, the prices of drink were a little too high and didn't have the same of what you were drinking all the time. At 18.30hrs they were running out of drink and by 20.00hrs there was none left, totally shocking when there was another 2 hours to the end of the event. I think.on some of other people's reviews you will get the same response. 😡
