Review of 7.15pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
Having seen a number of these type of events, I was unimpressed with this one. The themes were not well put over and the venue adjacent to the cathedral was poor.

Review of 7.45pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
I enjoyed the Carlisle and Roman elements, but it’s still so disjointed having it at the cathedral then the castle. Tickets weren’t even rechecked and anyone could wander in the castle with the crowd. It was so much better the first year inside the cathedral. I support local tourism but £8 is a bit steep when paying for a family.

Review of 7.15pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
Show was good, but after the hassle of queuing, waiting, and the crowds, and nowhere to sit, it was just too much for me. Also while the cathedral one was good, we couldn't make out the one in the castle, no commentary, and the pictures were blurry.

Review of 7.15pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
Really enjoyed the experience, walking through Cathedral grounds, through Tullie House and into the castle. The information projected on the walls and the music fed into the atmosphere. So much better and enjoyable than a firework display, less damaging to the environment too.
