Review of 7.00 pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
Well organised and interesting but would have been better if there had been some spoken/ subtitled commentary. Also the shops near the cathedral missed a trick by not being open

Review of 7.15 pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
A lot of money for not a lot. 2 films shown were practically the same. Both films were unimaginative and kids lost interest. Badly organised having to wait for a long time to enter the Castle made longer as needed people before to come back out.

Review of 6.45pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
Basically paid £8 to see some images projected on a wall. Was very disappointed that there was no light show I thought it would be more than it was.

Review of 6.45pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
This could have been so much better with some commentary - loved the light show, but an opportunity was missed to explain the history. Not a history buff myself, but some more explanation would have added to the experience via projected text or occasional voiceover to share 1900 glorious years.

Review of 6.45pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
Enjoyable but would have liked more varied lights on the actual buildings not just the slide show. Also not sure how much it would have meant to anyone not already familiar with the events depicted.

Review of 7.30 pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
We went to the Luminax production in Durham Cathedral and were blown away. Sadly this was not on a similar scale. We were with a guest who was disappointed that there was no commentary on the films and found the walking to the two different sites quite testing. It is a shame not to use the inside of the cathedral which is magnificent. The staff were helpful but the event a little underwhelming

Review of 6.45pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
Light shows clearer, better than last time..though dates could have been left on slightly longer. I missed the interior castle & light show on the castle that were there last time. The music & lasers were fantastic.
A bit expensive for 17year olds. Everyone has to stay at school past 16 these days so pricing structure is lagging behind here. The atmosphere was great: you felt it was a privilege to live here.
