Review of 7.30 pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
Felt very underwhelmed, all we really paid for was to see a glorified PowerPoint on the side of a building, I assumed we’d be going in the cathedral itself to see a light show. Everything else you can see for free, in fact you could even see the cathedral ground PowerPoint for free if you stood at the Boardroom pub looking through the fence, won’t be attending next year.

Review of 6.45pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
This was our first time visiting the City of Lights event so we didn’t really know what to expect. It was very well organised and it was lovely to see several of the city’s landmark buildings illuminated as we followed the route. The sound and light displays on the cathedral and castle were good and it was fairly easy to follow the story. It would be great if it could be expanded a little to include more buildings in future.

Review of 7.30 pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
Location excellent. Concept excellent. Technology very good. Very well organised. Content poor at best - it was like a GCSE project rather than a professional display. Definitely a missed opportunity.

Review of 7.00 pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
Sadly I thought this event was over hyped! It was very expensive for what it was, and I left feeling underwhelmed. The lasers were beautiful, but I’d argue that small children are likely to be bored.

Review of 7.30pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
Presentation and organisation were excellent.
I would have liked more of it - indifferent parts of the town. Maybe just light shows dotted around to entertain the family for longer.
Price fine for what we got.
My history knowledge is weak. I will have to learn more now.

Review of 8.30 pm - Carlisle City Of Lights: Hadrian’s Wall 1900
An amaturish insult on humanity!
Im left feeling numb & disturbed by the horrific extent to which the population in general has been dumbed down to a seemingly casual acceptance of such drivel as a form of entertainment.
