Review of Kendal Calling 2018
such a let down that Basement Jaxx were squashed in a tent. They should have been on the main stage. we couldn't get in the see it properly and were very disappointed, also, the prices at the bar were too steep. No wonder people sneak stuff in. if it was slightly cheaper they'd sell more. - just an observation but it works at others.

Review of Kendal Calling 2018
Great venue wutj sone decent tents and live acts. Although the amount of dance tents and bars was a little OTT and perhaps attracts a younger crowd. the indie disco and Manchester music was excellent as was Tims DJ sets. Whilst i applaud your war on plastic charging £2 for a small can of water or pop and £5 for a can of red stripe was ridiculously over priced! The food wss very varied but also expensive in the arena, £7 for a slice of pizza, must have to cover a hefty cost of the pitch! Toilets were pretty festival standard really, wod benefit from more around the camp sites it wasa long walk in the middle of the night from tje tent in the dark and massive queues in the arena. The main campsite was in a bit of a state by saturday morning and would probably benefit from a bit more governance, plenty of bins just not used. Glad we decided to carry on walking a bit further to a different site, great holmes was virtually full by Friday 10am!
Its an expesive do especially when paying for all the extras like showers, loos, charging stations etc, shame you cant pay for these extras on the monthly scheme because this is a great option. It had quite a 90s vibe this year with Shed 7 James and OCS, shame you didn't get LG instead of the Libertines or the no show Run DMC? Overall i had a great weekend, expensive as it was, shame you cant do anythong about the weather it knows how to rain in this part of the world! Not sure if i will go again next year, id love to try the Deer Lodge area but we could go abroad for 2 weeks all inclusive for less! 😮

Review of Kendal Calling 2018
Had a great weekend, everything felt organised and all of us enjoyed ourselves. Bands like The Amazons and Catfish & The Bottlemen were the highlights! Some stages / tents could be made bigger though due to queues, but overall good weekend.

It's now losing friendly status. Even in quiet family camping the overspill from the teenagers general sites caused issues with many. Our tent was trashed and we had to come home Saturday night. Poor line up this time with catfish and craig charles the best of the bunch. Come on Kendal, sort out stricter rules to each camp zone.
