Review of Crafty Vintage : Lowther Castle
Venue was fantastic, and stalls were lovely, just would have liked to see more market! We had a really good coffee from a van and a wander round the stalls, but there wasn't as many as I'd have hoped

Review of Club Class Luxury Pass at Kendal Calling
The toilets linked through Miss Polly were better, but the club class experience of toilets and showers felt chaotic and unprepared for bad weather. The system for showers would be fine in dry weather but not for the conditions had. You could better organise the entrance to allow more people access and more space for muddy boots. I queued for ages and when actually in there was more room in changing area and lots of shower cubicles free. Just felt badly organised.
The introduction of the overshoes to keep feet clean on day 2 was much better, and would suggest this adopted the whole time.
Did well to keep the water hot though, so that was good.

Maybe 15 stalls, 4 selling food on a Saturday and the Home made Pizzastall was not operational on Saturday lunchtime. This event appeared more of a ploy to get people to visit the site and visit the gardens and grounds.

Review of Crafty Vintage : Lowther Castle
Myself, partner and our 10 year old daughter attended the Crafty Vintage at Lowther Castle while on a long weekend in the Lake District. The atmosphere was great. The stalls had lots of lovely items. We ate there too. We also had a look around the outside of the castle. We really enjoyed a lovely few hours there.

Review of Crafty Vintage : Lowther Castle
Very pleased we didn't have to pay to get in to the fayre as it was tiny and there were no vintage stalls at all. We had looked around the entirety of the stand in less than 5 minutes.
The live music was good but a bit loud for an enclosed courtyard and ended up being a bit distracting when trying to speak to the stall holders.
The setting is perfect however. It is sheltered and very beautiful with decent toilets and a great cafe. The food and drink stalls were great. We had a gourmet hot dog and lovely coffee and sat within the grounds.

Enjoyed having look round , grandchildren enjoyed the magic show and trying out the circus tricks, cafe very warm and welcoming. Also enjoyed the music and seeing the dancing. Just a shame it rained, or would have stayed longer.

Review of Crafty Vintage : Lowther Castle
Terrible, I only had to drive five miles, had I come further I would have been really unhappy. Entertainment was ok but hardly any stalls. You go to a craft fair to look at crafts, hardly anything to look at which was a shame as the backdrop of the castle is a amazing and the entertertainers tried their best
Review of Crafty Vintage : Lowther Castle
Very disappointed. There was plenty of pre-publicity for this event, making out that we would need tickets. We therefore assumed that there would be lots of stalls selling interesting vintage/craft items. There were not! Thank goodness that there was decent music to listen to and dancers to watch, otherwise it would have been a complete let down. The location is wonderful, and this could have been something I would have recommended for future occasions, but sadly it was a damp squib apart from local musicians.

Review of Crafty Vintage : Lowther Castle
Very disappointing! There were only a handful of stalls selling knitted items not at all vintage. The magician was situated in a corner of the grounds with no signage or announcements that he was performing at all! I personally would not attend another event by Skiddle and so glad I didn't have to pay for tickets as I would be asking for a refund.

Very poor event, not at all what was expected. Stalls were selling good quality produce but too few of them and there was little or no food available by 17.30 on Saturday evening. Music very intrusive.
