Review of Astley Santa's Grotto - Relaxed Session
Absolutely lovely preschool event for my 18 month old. We enjoyed the story and singing songs together. Plenty of time to get the hang of surroundings for the little ones. Friendly staff. The venue was stunning. Really good value for money. It left me feeling so happy and Christmassy. It is a privilege to have Astley Hall in Chorley for the people here. I can't imaging National Trust would produce anything better but they would definitely charge a lot more, which excludes lower income families. Thank you Astley Hall team!

Review of Astley Santa's Grotto - Relaxed Session
Time with Father Christmas didn't feel very special/was quite rushed as it was in front of about 30 people with everyone watching. Loved being in Astley Hall, and staff were nice. Our child was quite disappointed with the gift (a 100 piece puzzle that they are a few years too young to play with properly). Some confusing queuing policies. Probably wouldn't go here again.

My little girl enjoyed the pre school session. Was a relaxing atmosphere. The waiting time is about 15 minutes before Santa comes which thought was good, gave my daughter time to get used to room
I would definitely recommend and will be trying to book again next year

Review of Astley Santa's Grotto
Last year was much better than this year. I think the elves could have been a bit more enthusiastic, there was a lot of waiting around for a quick 'what do you want for Christmas' photo and then leave. It was nice we could take photos on our phones and not have to pay extra.

Review of Astley Santa's Grotto
Venue was beautifully decorated, staff were lovely however we were rushed through. There were no other visitors at the time so no queue, we should have been allowed adequate time to enjoy the experience. There were 4 rooms in total, and our total visit time was less than 8 minutes. My advice, make sure you get to spend time in the rooms and don't be rushed. This was our third year visiting, previous visits were much more enjoyable.
