Review of Astley Santa's Grotto
We were the first visitors of the day, there was no signage to show that we were supposed to use a side entrance, but once we did find our way in we were rushed past the activities after the children had been told there were activities to do, and before we went around a display area staff asked us to come straight through which would mean we'd miss that too. Overall felt very rushed, not much atmosphere, im guessing it so they didnt end up behind schedule but we actually ended up finishing the experience before our allocated time slot started. Santa himself was friendly and nice, and it's a good price, but felt like it lacked christmas magic.

Review of Astley Santa's Grotto
7year old absolutely loved it. Great venue, great staff, fantastic father Christmas. Plus the land train is great. Only downside is the on site cafe, very little choice and really expensive

Review of Astley Santa's Grotto
We arrived 10 minutes before our time slot so were not late as I could understand it if we were. We were rushed though the whole experience, my son has only just picked up a pencil for the coloring experience when we were told the next section was ready for us. The venue was decorated beautifully but we didn't get to take this in properly as we came to the story time section and as soon as we arrived we were told Santa was ready for us so my kids didn't even get to experience this section or have a story read to them. My kids enjoyed seeing Santa but we booked a Santa experience and never got his. We were exiting the event 1 minute before my time slot was even due to start so I am unsure why we were pushed through like they were running late.

Review of Astley Santa's Grotto
You could tell a lot of effort had gone into making this a magical experience for the kids. The storyteller in particular was hilarious. All the staff were so lovely and it was a great experience for me and my friends little girl xx

Review of Astley Santa's Grotto
Absolutely amazing experience! The hall was decorated beautifully and the staff were just perfect for the kids. They were so friendly, welcoming, animated and made us laugh. We loved the 12 days of Christmas theme and every detail was just stunning.

Review of Astley Santa's Grotto
Disappointed with the whole experience, from the moment we arrived we were told that Santa has cameras in every room and is watching if you are naughty, we were told not to touch anything whilst waiting in the store room and another very dark room with only a Christmas tree in, which resulted in my 3 year old becoming bored and disregulated very quickly. We were then moved to another room which did have toys and colouring to do (it would have been better if we went into this room first, rather than the store room), then we were moved to another room where there was story telling but by this point my child was so over excited to see Santa that it was unrealistic to expect him to sit down and listen to a story for 25 minutes.
On the initial email they were very strict about arrival times so I expected that we would be seeing Santa straight away, not waiting for 1 hour to see him for what was quite literally 1 minute where my child was "bribed" to smile for the camera before Santa gave him a present.
Overall, very disappointing experience and had I known that it would take one hour to see Santa I would not have gone as this is an unreasonable amount of time to expect a 3 year old to wait patiently and as they kept saying "be a good boy".
