Review of Club Class Luxury Pass at Y Not Festival 2017
Set up too far away for us to make good use of the facility and then the event was washed out so ended a day early. Not worth the money - most expensive shower and sh ever.

Review of Club Class Luxury Pass at Y Not Festival 2017
As a regular ynot festival goer what can I say apart from what an absolute shambles. The cancellation of the event just topped off an absolute waste of a weekend. Having fetched my wristbands from club class Friday morning I used the showers once and could not get down to them from then on. It was too dangerous as we had a 4 year old with us. I have emailed Richard the director to no avail ... last year I could not fault club class apart from having to walk miles to get to it and it being situated in rock n roll camping (this year the same) ... it clearly stated in club classes terms and conditions a full refund would be given in the event of cancellations. I think they lied. Even a partial refund would be better than nothing. Along with global poor organisational skills made the experience horrendous

I am very unhappy about club class. Emailed many times before event to check if there would be a Miss Polly in arena for £20 as year before. I was told there wouldn't be so had to buy £35 ticket. When we got there - there WAS a Miss Polly costing me another £20. We did not need club class in camping field as in a campervan?!!! I would like a refund of the £35 as it was completely mis-sold.... Please email me emilydaisy5@hotmail.com
Thanks
Emma
PS Ynot in general was a shambles this year as I'm sure you know!! Felt unsafe/ sound system terrible etc. Have been for years and always recommended but just cannot this year.....

Review of Club Class Luxury Pass at Y Not Festival 2017
Tiny cubicles for toilets, with banks often closed. Muddy shower area in gents on Sunday morning. Stubborn refusal to engage via email post-event, despite fact access to showers and toilets was close to impossible on Sunday. Even without the catastrophic event organisation, this would have been appalling value for money. Not only would I not recommend, I would urge people to avoid this rip off.

Rubbish! Biggest were of £70 we have ever spent. False advertising. Have complained but no reply. The camp site toilets were cleaner with toilet paper and hand sanitiser. Y not is a good festival but never will I waste money on club class again

As you have stated that the organisation if this festival isn't related to you, I still feel that you should offer some sort of refund, as I tried to use your facilities ONCE, during the 40 hours I was there but couldn't access them, due to the poor conditions.

The music we did get to see was good...that was the only positive aspect. Poor security ,poor infrastructure. Really basic things like no signs on the different arenas..I've been to kids summer fairs better organised than this....

The facilities were in a good condition until it got quite muddy but that was expected. Glad I paid the extra money as was worth it for the showers especially with all the mud encountered. Although some people got away with using the facilities without having a wristband which was unfair for the people who had paid.

The location of the Club Class area was poor. We were camping in the VIP area so the walk to use the pamper room and the toilets/showers was too far so we actually only used the facilities once. I would have guessed the majority of the visitors paying for Club Class would, like us, also be paying for VIP and glamping too so would be better closer to these camp sites.

I only visited this facility once during my stay at the festival to receive my wristband so cannot comment on all the facilities. I used the toilet and it was clean. I could not use the facility for the rest of the stay due to the poor condition of the ground (nothing to do with club class I appreciate but poor planning from ynot fest). Club class was at the far end of rock and roll camping, we stayed in Achilles far end near the main stage. I would have got more dirty on my way back from a clean shower. Staff were pleasant and helpful when I collected my band. Shame I didn't get my moneys worth.

The Club Class toilets were a welcome relief given the state of the standard portaloos. However i wouldn't describe them as 'luxury'! Also an annoying location given that we weren't camping in the 'rock n roll camp site' (disgusting campsite), so were quite far for us to go to each morning and everytime you need to go. Also far from the arena, and shut before any of the main bands finished so you had to use the main portaloos anyway. There should have been multiple Club Class points to actually make the experience better!

This was my first festival and I can definitely say it was an experience. Unfortunately, the weather was against us all weekend. Rain, rain and more rain. This resulted in mud, mud and more mud. You can tell a lot of time was spent organising this event but a back up plan was not planned for. We were lucky to stay in the family camping area and we were away from mud. Our tent did leak and we had to sleep in the car as all of our sleeping bags, bed and clothes were soaking wet. We left late Saturday night because of the weather which was expected over night. We didn't want to get stuck in the mud the next day. The next day we found out that the Sunday had been cancelled anyway due to weather and health and safety.
Pros:
I was able to use flushing toilets with my Club Class Luxury Pass.
I was able to have a hot shower with my Club Class Luxury Pass .
Most of the family camping area was away from the mud.
The bands which did play were very good.
The atmosphere was great, even with the rubbish weather.
A great choice of food vans.
Cons:
There were very few bins and therefore rubbish was left everywhere.
I personally saw no police there (I am not saying there weren't there but I didn't see any).
We heard that there was a lot of theft.
Our bags were not checked on the way in.
As we were sat at our tents, one man asked us to look after his coat (which had drugs in) while he went out to his car. We said no and couldn't find anyone to report it.
Nothing was done to help stop the ground from becoming a bog so it just got worse.
Bands were cancelled.
I personally think that YNOT could be a brilliant festival and it probably has been in previous years. However, there are too many reasons Y NOT to go at the moment.

Aside from the festival being a total washout, compared to other VIP toilet facilities I have used at other festivals the standard was low. The toilets, whilst functional were very cramped and not kept particularly clean. The showers were also very basic with nowhere within the shower block to put your stuff so it all had to be left in the cold and basic changing area.
