Review of Doncaster Hot Air Balloon Festival
What I liked: local, well organised, great itinerary of events. Despite unpredictable weather on Saturday, pilots did their best to fly some balloons and the team on the ground kept us posted and entertained us throughout. Host Ryan Swain was fab!
What I'd like to see improve: more gluten free options on food stalls. I had to go without food whilst there. More 'drinks only' outlets as queues were large due to folk waiting for food when others only wanted drinks. More organised parking at different places if possible. I had to find street parking and walk-in.
A great first Balloon Festival and I'd definitely go again :)

Review of Doncaster Hot Air Balloon Festival
I am not interested in fairground rides though plenty of people were.It was very hot and a bottle of water was up to £3.Doncaster council should provide free water stations at least 2 around the site.Food averaged around £7 for a burger or a toastie.I have allergies and the only option for me was chips.More stalls are needed craft displays etc make it more like a country show

Review of Doncaster Hot Air Balloon Festival
Venue amazing. Ticket price not bad but you could actually see everything the ticket got you from outside of the railings. The rides, food and drink were extremely expensive! You could take own alcohol free picnic however. Lots of toilets which were clean (the few we used) an ok event, but feel not enough made of the balloons being as thats what it was supposed to be all about

Review of Doncaster Hot Air Balloon Festival
Didn't see the balloons go up. I asked different staff and got different answers. One said 10 minutes but we could see that they weren't getting the balloons out, another said not happening and it had been cancelled then another said in 30 minutes. It was difficult to know what was happening. It wasn't accessible for Deaf people, we couldn't hear the staff speaking through the tannoy, we struggled to communicate with people. We wanted to know more about the vikings/ war but couldn't understand the people there. It would've been nice if there were signs to explain in the viking/ war tents. It also would've been nice if there were interpreters to explain what was happening. It wasn't organised very well
