Unfortunately the weather was windy - not your fault .
Unfortunately the food and drink was expensive and ran out.
Unfortunately the toilets - portaloos were not adequate .
Unfortunately the line up wasn't released and I missed Elton! 4pm
Unfortunately Oasis and Cold play among a-few didn't show!
Unfortunately The VIP area was behind the stage so they joined where we were standing so too crowded !
Unfortunately I won't book on The pier again .

1.5 delay in opening the gates. No line up information anywhere online. Had I known Ariana Grande and Spice Girls were on the list would not have bought the ticket. VIP area was behind the stage, could not see anything or hear the music. They have completely run out of drinks on tap at 3pm - 2 hours into the festival, serving only warm beers in cans. My group has left the festival after 3 hours.

Massive gaps and waits in between the tribute acts. Half of the lineup originally advertised weren't there. They ran out of beer on tap within an hour of us being there. They then charged the same price for cans of beer. Cost of drink was an excessively high, especially as we'd already paid for entry. Security guards were unqualified, rude and unprofessional. My partner got tackled by 5 security guards and they called for back up as well, just for walking out with a drink he paid for in a plastic cup. Will never go to an event on the pier again, such poor organisation.

Horrible staff. Ran out of alcohol 3 hours into event. Told we couldn't sit down after an hour and if we wanted to sit down it had to be behind a shed so we couldn't see the stage. Aggressive security. Absolutely disgusted.

Security staff were over-zealous and aggressive, toilets were appalling, food outlets were too few, drinks ran out mud-afternoon. Tribute acts were not as advertised.

I had to leave early and missed everything after Elton John because the bar ran out of wine and draft lager...nothing to drink and this was before 3pm it ended at 10pm. There was no hand sanitizer in the toilets which is unhygienic and no one thought to pop to the supermarket and get some, there was enough staff just standing around!!!
I expect a refund.

Very disappointed after feeling like I paid over the odds for me and four friends to hear 90's music. We stayed four hours waiting to see if ultrabeat could turn the tables for us but after they hadn't turned up 30 minutes from when their set time was due to start we just left.

Potential to be a great gig, but early on bars were cash only, ran out of wine and beers on tap. Around £7 for cans of larger/cider. The burger stall ran out of burgers and that was at 4.30pm! A few of the more popular acts cancelled and a long wait between acts. I went home early and will not rush back to another event on Hastings Pier.

The security were really heavy handed, one young guy dragged out for trying to take a sealed caterpillar cake in for his dad's birthday. We also paid over 3x extra for 'VIP' tickets to use an area that had longer queues than non VIP and absolutely no view of the acts. The 3 acts we were most looking forward to seeing did not even perform so we felt really miss-sold to. Bar staff friendly and crowd were too but otherwise not the best day.

Waste of time & money paid extra for VIP but ALL the benefits were non existent & when asking the staff they knew nothing I have jump the line guy told me there's 1 qué where's VIP I was gestured to the large open area where everyone was overpriced there & everything sold out very quickly no drinks were cold unless u paid extra for glass & ice bands were awful the sound levels were terrible some were too loud others too quiet then the singers themselves were cringey & couldn't harmonise the group advertised weren't the groups that played and some acts didn't play at all very disappointed left early and was told got worse after we left I WILL NEVER BE BOOKING THIS TYPE OF EVENT AGAIN I DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL

Not enough food outlets for a 10 hour event and not allowing people to bring their own food, drink run out early. Extortionate prices , not being allowed back out to re- park, resulting in parking ticket , advertised bands not playing, disgusting toilet facilities, could go on & on, a refund would be a token of a disappointing day

Not all acts performed as advertised. Poor food choice and long queuing. Not as advertised. Lots of drinks ran out and were very expensive. Poor toilets. Waste of money

Similar to most other reviews, some good acts (Abba especially) , poor range of food and drink services - queueing for over an hour to get food, selling cans of beer where it seems they had been bought at cash and carry for around a pound and sold with 8 times mark up with no choice as draft beer ran out early on. No available drinking water and not allowed to bring water in (legal?). Acts not appearing and security was overbearing for the alleged family crowd that this event was due to accommodate. Poor - very unlikely to visit Hastings pier event again.

They ran out of beer, prices were incredibly high, not allowed to leave the venue once you have entered and advertised artists cancelled on the day

Not as advertised. Took 45 minutes to queue for chips. Security were rude and tried to stop use of chairs. People should be refunded some of the money for this event as falsely advertised
