Review of Hastings Pier
What a load of rubbish and waste of a 90 min journey. VIP- WAS BEHIND THE STAGE WITH NO VIEW. VIP TOILETS- 45 min Q. Bands- enthusiastic but heard better in karaoke - not sure if them or sound quality poor.
Drinks- £6.50 for a can of Bud- draught sold out by 4:30 pm. £6.50 for a can of hooch- who drinks that?!! Only diet drink was c**e.
Never ever again will I go to an event on HASTING PIER. Could go on but enough time wasted.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Hastings!
I purchased 3 tickets for this event that we could not attend in the end because despite Hastings Pier last entry for ticket holders was 7pm, arriving at 4pm we were refused entry by the security staff, despite me having purchased tickets and showed then the screenshot of last entry time said that this is now a Skiddle issue and to take it up with Skiddle, which I now expect a full refund or this will be taken further.

Good day out, but disappointed that our lunch was confiscated by a jobsworth at the entry point, even our chocolate bars. The bands were mostly very good (ABBA and Elton John), but some (Spice Girls and Beatles) not so good. Glad we were able to take chairs in, although we were made to move them back during the afternoon. Beer expensive and it ran out by mid-afternoon.

All of the acts were fantastic, could not fault them.
The venue ran out of all beer and other tap drinks THREE hours in to a TEN hour event - very poor planning!
The security were bullish thugs, and were booed when one act acknowledged their presence. A peaceful, family event was treated like it was the Taylor Swift concert! My diabetic friend had a chocolate bar confiscated as they refused to believe she was diabetic as she was unable to prove it with insulin (that she injects once a day!), yet people could take in vapes! A great day, at times ruined by things that ought to have been better planned/executed!

Really poorly managed event. Not enough food vendors and food ran out. Not allowed to exit venue to get food. Beer ran out. Security were heavy handed. Way too long set up between sets. Very few of the advertised bands played. It is a good concept but was poorly executed.

the Avent said family friendly so we took along food and drinks but on arrival we were informed no food or drinks were allowed. This wasn't advertised on the information about the Avent. I think it was disgusting to not allow these things for the children.i will never go again and I think they need to rethink, is it really a good idea to ban all food and drink, just so they can make more money out of people with inflated prices.like I said ,I won't be returning.

Two of the advertised acts did not appear, Fleetwood Mac and Oasis - people were very disappointed. Security was overbearing and ridiculous, 9 security men removed a man purely because he complained that security were blocking his view. He was not being aggressive. You should not have 3 large security men standing on elevated platforms that block the view of the audience. If they stood on the ground there would have been no issue. No disabled toilets - disgraceful. No water dispenser and prices of drinks very high. I would not recommend this festival which is a shame because the acts that appeared were good on the whole - except the Beatles who were out of tune!

Misrepresentations of family friendly event so not making it clear no food or drink even water to be taken in. Not having enough food outlets inside to meet demands and running out of fraught beef within the first hour and other alholoic drinks and no free water outlets to refill bottles securitie although friendly were ott on seating areas

No wine at all. ram out of all draft beers by 3.30. No prior information about programme schedule, what you could bring to the venue ie; chairs. Etc. The amount of people attending seemed to catch the organisers by surprise!.

Had vip tickets which were a joke , couldnât see the bands from the vip area, could hear them well as speakers facing away. A number of acts cancelled. Vip toilet ques were long and toilets got blocked. Paid over twice the price for the vip tickets and would have been better just getting ordinary ones and taking our chairs

VIP area at the back of the stage? How does that meet vip standards? It was supposed to include queue jumping but was not. We queued with everyone else.
Two bands we had really bought the tickets for did not turn up so we left before 6pm in disappointment. It was utterly disgusting that if you stayed in the VIP area you could not see the bands. I donât understand the logic in that. All we could see was the back of the lighting rig and the flight boxes from the equipment back stage. The queues for the VIP loos was huge and took 25 minutes and the queue to the bar took unacceptably long as well. We were completely missold the VIP ticket so we were very disappointed.

Unfortunately wasn't very well thought out or organised. Was nice to see was full with people and the acts we did see were good but there was no information previous to event i.e. set list or anything so I wasn't sure when to arrive, and there was limited food available with upwards of 1-2 hour wait times queuing to get said food (I follow a vegan diet so there wasn't a lot [if any] options for me to eat anything). The bar ran out of alcohol by the time we got there (between 4 and 5) and the pier probably was not the best choice of venue when you consider British weather (and it was very windy). It would be better if there was more communication about the day's events beforehand and if there was better, quicker more affordable food and drink catering to all diets, or, if this isn't possible, you should be allowed to bring your own food and drink along.
