My wife and I took our two girls (10 and 15) to the Trail 2 Witchfinder Event on Halloween 2022. We weren't sure what to expect but my wife and I had done similar scarefest events so had a rough idea. We went for the shorter trail 2 route (Approx 20 mins long) as we weren't sure how the girls would react. They loved it!! We will return next year to do the longer trail 1 which is about 40-50mins thus year. They were super scared but buzzing with excitement, my wife and I got a couple of jump scares too. Its not cheap, at about £20-£25 per person depending on which Trail you do but you get what you pay for. The venue is amazing, incredibly atmospheric and the actors were superb. The makes up, costumes and staging was phenomenal. Everyone out of character was really friendly and everyone in character was in full Halloween mode. It's mostly outdoors so wrap up and if it's wet defo wear wellies. Note that the event is not accessed via the main house entrance on the A6 but through Long Whatton. We'll definitely be back next year for another scare!!

Great night, dispite terential downpours all night, added to the atmosphere and the actors still gave 110% even with the extreme weather conditions and the last night of the Halloween event. Great work keep it up!

Great show again. This is our third visit to Whatton House and would recommend and return. Not sure I would get everyone to go around to the back entrance when the front was being used as the exit though..?

'Trail 1' last night was excellent! Just the right mix of theatricality & set pieces, jump scares, interaction with the actors, and being chased in the dark - right on the edge of our comfort levels at points, left our hearts pounding and huge grins on our faces - thank you 🙂

A great night out, brilliant actors and the setting was great
Food and drinks available in the courtyard were of a good standard
We went on a Sunday night so it wasn’t too busy so we had no problem with queuing
We have been to a couple events at this venue and they have always been good

Not as good as the year previously, but much more expensive. Overall would recommend as it’s a very enjoyable family friendly event! Actors are incredibly talented and it’s a very unique experience.

It was a great vibe - the actors and actresses were phenomenal. The venue gave warm vibes (canât wait for the Christmas show)
In my opinion - this wasnât as scary as Iâd have liked just a few occasional jump scares (but I am difficult to scare and I did notice that some of the strangers we were grouped with found it to be quite a terrifying experience)
Other than that, it was absolutely brilliant and I would definitely come again maybe at a slightly smaller price :)
