This is my second year of visiting Whatton house of horror and was as scary has the first year. Only disappointing thing was my Wednesday booking was cancelled and then paid almost double to go to my new date.

We had to wait for the group infront (as we were asked to leave a gap) for so long that it made us return to ‘reality’.
Although the actors were doing a good job, it wasn’t a scary experience by no means.
I think the venue was great but the whole experience didn’t live up to expectations.

It was a very good night trail one was enjoyable. The actors unlike other places similar to this actually spoke to you and answered you. Food was good atmosphere was relaxed and spooky proper family halloween. Cant remember if there was music. My only two problems with the night was the ques we skipped trail two as we qued for 30mins and still couldnt see the front. The second is they didnt wait for the whole group to catch up before they started the shows this was abit annoying as we had a person who is terminally ill and was ok half way through then slowed down not to much but enough to miss the start of each one however if they did wait im guessing the ques would get worse so these problems are linked. Over all a really good night and i would recommend.

Hi, I have been trying to find an email address for contacting you. I would like to put in a complaint. I visited last night, Booked the 8.15 slot and paid for 5 of us to attend. We arrived 20 mins before our booked slot as advised to a big queue, where people tin front didnt have tickets. We were told to wait. We finally got into the event at 9.20, over an hour after our pre booked slot! Our group was comprised of 13 people, quite a lot. Because there were so many bookings rushed through the event, there was at one point nearly 50 of us (5 groups of avg 10) Crammed into one area. Which took all the fun/scare away from the event because you knew what was happening next. The 3 kids in our group found it quite boring. Unfortunately you had great actors and great location but let down by the number of people you were letting through. It turned out to be quite a lot of just waiting around outside in the cold, the other groups were unhappy too.

Better than last year. Really well presented, great show. Only downside was the amount of people and having to merge our group of 9 to another group of 9 which took the fear factor away a bit. But would definitely recommend and come again next year.

If you like to queue for an evening this is the place for you.
18.45 trail for in 19.15 so not too bad. But it went down hill from there !
Trail 2 booked for 19.45 got in at 21.25 !!!!!
Staff informing us it’s over booked.
Event itself is just ok good actors but rushed and too large a groups going around to be able to see anything properly.
Not a patch on the one they did at Xmas
Won’t be coming again :(

The queues were very long and there was lots of waiting around between moving along to the next event, so you could see what was happening next, ruined the surprise! The event didnât flow as well as last years and I thought it would be a bit scarier than it was. The last with heâs at the end where very good though and the drinks were reasonably priced.
