Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival Chepstow!
VIP prices were an absolute scam for what you received (or didnt).
Honestly the worst music event I have ever been to,would not recommend this to anyone.
Charging £110 for 24 cans of lager says it all

From start to finish an awful experience. Weren't allowed to take a drink or food in. No large umbrellas which was unfair as it was heavily raining. The fairground music drowned out the stage music. Could hardly hear what the acts were saying. Spice girls were shockingly rubbish. The stewards were unprepared and young. The security staff were brilliant.

The one issue I had was that the bands used on the promotional material were not the bands in the actual line up. I appreciate you may not confirm the line ups far in advance but once you have a confirmed line up you should promote this. E.g Coldplay, fleetwood mac and David Bowie were advertised on Facebook as being at Chepstow on 8th September and they weren't there. If I was going only for those bands I would be really disappointed.

A great day out was had by all despite the weather. We were hoping to see Fleetwood Mac which was advertised but instead had The Spice Girls (🙈🙉). A lot of spectators felt Amy Winehouse should have been swapped with the SG on the playlist. She was brilliant!
I booked premium parking at £16.75 - only to find parking was free! 😡 Otherwise good value for money.
Other criticism (though I hope this will be taken constructively):
Better signposting from the road re parking and entrance - we were new to the venue - luckily followed others who knew layout.
Info should have been clear on website re what you can/can't bring to the venue. I checked beforehand but rules changed as the day went on.
The staff there were very friendly and the venue itself was great.
Despite my moans, we really hope this event will be on again next year as we'd like to go back. (but I won't pay for parking next time!)

The bar prices were badly overpriced...The c**e brand was Barr with a price of £1.19 on the bottle but were charging £5 then later £6 per pint...They were taping the prices and writing over the increased price...The selection of some item were out of stock. Badly organised and a total rip off. That's why people sneak alcohol in. If prices were reasonably then they would make more money!!!
Bands were advertised but not performing ie Fleetwood Mac

Weather was attrocious but despite this every one was happy and enjoying the event,ABBA and Beatles tribute excellent,Queen and Spice Girls good...not keen on Oasis so not fair to judge that performance and missed the 2 early slots.Food choice a bit limited and wine sold out by 7pm..

The location of the vip was at the back of the event, which seemed pointless. Prices at events are always outrageous, but to pay £3 for half a plastic glass of aldi Lemonade is just scandalous

Amazing acts and venue. However the food and drink prices were ridiculous! The cheapest food you could get cost £11 and that was for chips and curry sauce. A 2litre bottle of cola, £8 with a £1.19 price label on it! Over all a brilliant day, just pricey

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival Chepstow!
Absolute shambles, over priced, the acts were not as the ones advertised, payed extra for parking, no need to, it was a first come first spot basis, payed for VIP tickets, the bar and the toilets were further than the normal tickets, we left early, as did a lot of people, it's daylight robbery,

Paid for VIP ticket and parking. Could have parked for free as no one was on the gate. VIP bar had run out of most drinks, VIP toilets were overflowing and disgusting. Vendors not allowed to sell soft drinks even though the bars had run out. Food and drink pricing very high. Bands were good.
