Review of Disco Kids Newport 2024
Poor communication from event organisers, limited accessibility for children with additional needs, despite there being ramps, the main gate to the ramp was closed making them difficult to get to. Told there was no blue badge parking but turned up to find there was, after having paid for the shuttle. Very expensive food and drinks (£6.50 for an ice cream!). No sign of Bluey or circus people walking around as promised. It was basically like going to a fun fair but paying £60 to get in.

Review of Festival of Comedy 2024
This was our 4th time and when they changed the venue from Tredegar House we were apprehensive, but we prefer this venue, parking was easier and it was just as good as Tredegar House, can't wait for next years.

Review of Party At The Park Newport
Fabulous event but felt last year there was more free things to do for the kids there wasnât a good selection of alcohol like last year and the taxis at the end were an absolute joke last year was set out fabulous this year they let themselves down especially when you have children in tow

Review of Colour Clash 2024
Waited over two hours for the shuttle bus from newport to the venue which wasn't great. At one point there were about 100 people waiting for a coach and a minibus turned up. Loads of people ended up getting taxis. I think it's very poorly organised. Seen several fights and even haf to tell one of the security guards about a man lying on the floor after being jumped as the Security was on his phone. Considering the venue was advertised as bigger, it was tiny. If you can not bring anything in and you can not leave then maybe reduce your cost for food and drink.

Review of Festival of Comedy 2024
Great show, location was a bit weird and did not receive communication about shuttle bus location. Seemed to be plenty of spaces to park nearby instead of walking 15 mins to where it was suggested to park. Also thought there was a bit more space for more tickets to be sold. Gig and comedians itself was great and good value. Drinks on the other hand were ridiculous, £6.50 for a 330ml can of ale which is £1.25 in the shops, 500% mark up is a bit much!

Review of Disco Kids Newport 2024
Planning for the park and ride was disgusting.... We arrived at 11:15 to comet Gwent, waiting 1.5hours for a bus and entered the venue at about 13:30 due to the queues.... Missed loads of artists... kids were extremely upset and stressed.....
Very poor planning

Review of Disco Kids Newport 2024
This event was one of the worst organized that I have ever attended. Despite the advertised opening times of 12-5 PM, the first park and ride bus only started at 11:30 AM. We arrived at 11 AM and didn't get into the festival until 1:30 PM. It took 2.5 hours to get in, and waiting with a toddler was incredibly difficult.
Once inside, the facilities were abysmal. The baby changing area consisted of just two rough wooden tables. The circus area featured a disinterested performer who barely engaged with the children. Other areas were similarly run-down and had a dreary atmosphere reminiscent of the lackluster Willy Wonka experience.
Moreover, there were no real activities aimed at young children. While we tried to make the best of the day, I've attended free events that were far superior in every respect.

Review of Disco Kids Newport 2024
This review for me is a difficult one cause although I did have a nice day my experience of the staff and how I was treated despite being 7 months pregnant was not good. Firstly we queued for an hour to wait for the shuttle to take us from the car park to the event. When we finally got the even even we queued for another hour an a half in 25 degree heat to get into the park. When we was near the bag check I spoke to one of the stewards and asked if there was anyway I would be able to be fast tracked in due to have already been waiting nearly 2 and a half hours to use the toilet I was rudely told that they could not just give me special treatment because I am pregnant. We waiting another half an hour to get our bags checked. They removed my perfume off me due to it being in a glass bottle however there was no mention of not being allowed glass in the venue. £70 full bottle of Olympea. When I asked if they would mind keeping it safe until I left I was told no and that they will not be held responsible even though they had allowed other people to do this. Once in the venue we had a lovely time however £12 for chicken nuggets and chips for my 2 kids was extortionate and an absolute rip off however water was free which was a relief.

Awful ! Really bad planning. Shuttle service abysmal resulting in missing the first 2 hours of the festival. Extortionate pricing, huge queues, poor planning.
Do not waste your money
