Review of Shrek Rave
Nothing like the event advertised. Merged into bigger event and Shrek stage so small! No chance to meet characters, no visuals and totally mis sold. Venue changed to other location which was difficult to get too. Very disappointed and 2 very upset children that shrek activities were non existent.

Review of Festival of Comedy 2024
The acts were great but the venue was shocking. There had clearly been another event there during the day and the marquee and things were being disassembled very noisily throughout the show.
There wasn't enough seats for everyone, some people had their own chairs but I don't recall seeing that as an option anywhere so we hadn't bought anything to sit on. We spent a long time standing then managed to get a bench which was really far from the stage and close to the other things that were being disassembled.
With it being advertised as a seated event at the bare minimum there should be enough seats put out but there were loads of people having to sit on the floor.
The acts were top notch but unfortunately having to sit right by the food venders and constantly getting disturbed by either the workmen or customers of the venders really impacted on the atmosphere. There was a good range of venders and food options and you expect it to be expensive but £3.50 for a can of pepsi on a warm day is pure extortion.

Review of Festival of Comedy 2024
I only marked the music down as I was there for the comedy, not music. All of the acts were top quality. The drinks on offer make for a poor choice and are overpriced. Still, all things considered, we had a great evening. I look forward to doing this next year.

Review of Party At The Park Newport
Great event, quick to get in through security although we showed up about 2 hours after start. Good music, good food, the rides were fun and well managed. Overall a good experience. The change of venue was a bit of a pain, the taxi situation wasnt the best but thats to be expected. Would recommend

Review of Party At The Park Newport
Great event on the whole with a great atmosphere. The staff were brilliant. There were plenty of bar staff which meant no queuing and plenty of food outlets. However, the food and drink was extremely overpriced. £6.50 for one can of lager and £7.50 for cheesy chips!

Review of Disco Kids Newport 2024
This was our first Disco Kids and we had a nice time. There was a bit of apprehension beforehand due to parking not being available but we took the risk and found parking nearby.
The venue was nice with some lovely features: a range of music tents, several food stands and some rides. I was expecting more based on photos and videos of the event. I didn't see any entertainers walking around and the things there to appeal to small kids, were really basic (circus skills and science school). I was expecting more in the way of children's activities and things for them to do rather than just watching singing and dancing.
Also, I didn't feel that the event was the best planned out. There were 2 ice cream vans with huge queues but about 15 bars that were empty.
I was also annoyed to see a vape shop on site and the event being sponsored by a caffeine energy drink. Hardly child appropriate.
Overall, we had a good day. The kids had fun and it felt safe.
Would I book again? Probably not but I don't regret going.

Brilliant night thoroughly enjoyed , pity about the food stalls running out of things after the weekend .
Also maybe add another hot drink vendor next year for the sunday , 1 was not enough
