Review of Festival of Comedy 2024
I was skeptical about the venue but it was well planned and organised. It had a nice feel about it too and the weather stayed dry which was a result. There was however no sign of accessible access or facilities which was very poor. There were long winding queuing for the bar and to enter however it didn't seem to be necessary as there were never huge queues but you had to walk the line regardless. The venue needs to do better in that respect.

Good atmosphere but not family friendly prices at all... £31 for 5 ice creams, £5pp for a ride, £3.50 for a can of pop, £6.50 for a can of beer( so not even a pint) and unable to take in a little picnic for the kids to at least make the day a little more affordable. Shame as if the prices were decent it would have been a fab day out but unfortunately the prices just made the day less fun.

Great event, comedy brilliant and atmosphere was decent. Only gripe was prices at the venue. Can of cider and lager for £6.50 per can seems excessive, even for 'festival prices', but great overall.

Review of Disco Kids Newport 2024
This was the first time we had attended this event and in all honesty before arriving we didn't have very high expectations. We were wrong, it was a great day! The music, setup of the site and stalls were brilliant. It was not overcrowded and felt very safe for all the children.
The only downfall I would say, was the appearances of Bluey. It would have been better if the times of her appearance was announced or a time slot system for meeting her was put into place. Bluey was very popular and as far as I'm aware only made two appearances for around 5 minutes each time and she got swamped!
Overall, I would attend this event again.

Opened gates at 12 for the first act at 12. Did not get in until 1pm! Outrageous. Everything extortionate in there and as a family event would be £150+ for 4 hours (supposed to be 5)

The event was fun, the comedians were funny and varied. The music was good. The only things that could be improved was the parking and the location of the venue. I preferred the previous year's location.

Review of Party At The Park Newport
The event was very well organised and the glorious weather made the atmosphere fantastic. Unfortunately, the price of food and drink was ridiculous. Some people had paid up to £70 for tickets then to be faced with those prices. I personally think picnics should be allowed again and the drink prices need to be more sensible and not £3.50 for a can of soft drink. The quality of food wasn't great from the vendors considering the crazy prices they were charging.
