Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
Expected the festival to be outdoors and the line up was not as advertised - no Pink, Fleetwood Mac etc. No much of a funfair (one ride). Would not recommend albeit acts were ok.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
Stage in a big shed (no-one wants to sit inside all day when the sun is shining), outdoor seating in a carpark with limited view/hearing of stage (no lawn/grass to lay a blanket on), bands not quite what were advertised/hinted at. No fun stalls (face painting, festival souvenirs, gadgets etc.), limited food choices NO icecreams or pudding on a beautiful summers day. Toilets not cleaned properly before start of event, a lot of litter left over from previous days 'festival'. Only one ride (waltzers) nothing for the children, actually nothing for the children! They love a light sabre!! A lot of people heard voicing all these comments throughout the day.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
The bands were really good but the venue was awful. Staff worked really hard but it was advertised as an outdoor festival it was an inside a huge hanger type building ruined the astmosphere everyone took rugs and folding seat expecting grass but we were expected to sit on concrete floors or carpark. Not as advertised such a shame.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
Wasn't told it was an indoor event, would have been good if raining but was lovely weather... choice of food stalls poor, no other stalls selling anything else. VIP AREA...😂 that was a joke .. won't be going back.. I'll stick to holbeach music and beer festival.. their set up is so much better, yes tickets are more but I guess cheap tickets at Newark means cheaper experience

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
The festival was advertised as being outside however was in a wear house where the music echoed and everyone had camping chairs so you couldn't stand up. The 4 food venders and 1 attraction were placed in a car park. There was no grass to sit on and everyone was just stood around. The musicians were good but the event was awful. We left early because we couldn't be bothered to stay there. One of the event people also had a verbal and physical fight with our taxi driver which wasn't a great first impression for us

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
Shocking event. Quite possibly the worst thing I have ever been to. A dirty hangar, crap food, poor choice of drinks, over-priced. Just a disgrace. Never again.

Review of Save The Rave: 90's Festival - Newark
From the advertising I thought this would have been an outdoor event and was really disapointing. I felt you were either in with the atmosphere or outside missing out. Definitely consider having this outdoors as the vibe and atmosphere was lost each time we needed to sit. I'm not sure if I'm making sense but yeah needs to be outdoors in my opinion.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
We booked this because we came last year and it was an amazing day. Lots of different food vans for savoury and sweet. The field was clean and the atmosphere was electric. The music in between acts had people up dancing. This year there was less than half the food options. It was indoor. The sound was terrible. There were half the acts compared to last year. This year's were the same except oasis and were not decent quality. Why indoors? Beautiful weather and it was in a stuffy barn. Really disappointed with the whole day and left early. Prices were crazily high again however last year was accepted as it was organised and plenty of acts. Not even close this year.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
It was sold as an indoor and outdoor event.
It was in an old aircraft hanger which affected the acoustics really badly. If you were towards the middle or rear of the crowd you struggled to understand what people were saying, let alone singing. It was a hyped up karaoke at best.
My wife and I luckily just laughed at how appallingly bad it was rather than got upset. If you're looking for a proper festival, this is not for you.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
It was very disappointing this year , it was inside and usually it's outside. The idea of a festival is that it's outside, not stuck in a stuffy barn when the sun is shining! Also security staff took my friends purfume of her told her she could hide it in a bush outside because we had no car there , we she went back a little while later to check on it it had gone .. won't be going again next year if it's indoors ..

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
Considering this was advertised as an outdoor festival we were extremely disappointed to arrive to find the stage indoors. False advertising and ruined what would have been a fantastic day and atmosphere had it been outdoors on the grass . There were more performers on the line up online than performed so another disappointment when half the acts we were expecting weren't on.
The prices were absolutely astronomical! £140 for a bottle of JD. £6 for a can of cider..£5 a go on waltserz. £13 for loaded fries. Family festival yet you're not allowed to take in a picnic of your own for the children. Not exactly family friendly with the cost of living crisis.
The atmosphere was rubbish. You could tell looking around and listening to everyone talking how disappointed they were. Heard multiple people saying they would never come again and I will be joining them in this.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Tribute Festival Newark
Advertised as an outdoor event ....it wasn't. There WAS outdoor seating, on scrubland, but stage was in a 'warehouse' (That's fine if advertised as such. 'Street food' was basically chips (ok there were burgers, chicken pieces or pizza to go with the very salty chips...) Tribute acts didn't really 'look a like ' , nor sound like the originals, and went rather overboard on their accents!
'Premium parking felt a bit of a con tbh. On the plus side there were lots of security guys, all very friendly and the sun shone!
We would be very reluctant to recommend this event
