Overpriced for what it was. Too many people in a small space, too few food vendors. Long queues for an ice cream van, ice cream tasted rancid! Fireworks werenât announced, just randomly started. Fair ground rides advertised but only two there! Bonfire advertised - no bonfire! Fireworks were good, but that was the only positive. Definitely wouldnât go again and would deter other people from wasting their money in the future. Such potential, but completely let down.

Fireworks started earlier than planned with no prior announcement or countdown. The queues for the little food trucks and rides were behind a joke. The fireworks lasted about 10 minutes. No fire pits as advertised. Pathetic attempt at an event to be honest. Wish I could get a refund

Overcrowded, no mention of the time the time works started, no mentioned that the fireworks were going to start. The queues to the stalls were extremely long, over 30 min wait, the toilets were insufficient. There was no music with the fireworks.

Nice family atmosphere, but queues for food were way too long , could have done with some music when the fireworks were happening to create more of an exciting atmosphere.

Fireworks were good. But not a great waiting space. Queues were too long for food and nowhere near enough entertainment options to pass the time. No fire pits / marshmallows etc.

Terrible, too busy not enough food stalls. Ran out of everything we wanted no garlic bread no veg pizza no marshmallows. Was too busy we had to leave at 7:30. Not even any seating was available

There was no music to the fireworks. The queues for food and drink were very long and very slow so we gave up on the end. Venue was good and fired were ok but for the money would have expected music accompaniment and more food and drink

Was way too over crowded, fireworks had better views then outside the venue. They didnât scan anyoneâs tickets so I didnât need to pay. The queues are massive for the 2 food vans they had. They were charging £3.50 for a water⦠overall a huge ripoff

Hitchin Priory Fireworks 1st Nov 24. £8 for fireworks good value, but poor security, didn't scan tickets just looked very quickly at phone, no bag checks, lots of cannabis smokers in crowd, massive queue at the 1 bar, no queuing system and people pushing to front. No announcement of fireworks so underneath bar tent when started. Waste of time really, wouldn't recommend at all

Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
Pop up area advertised with street food, bars and live music was very poor. The horror maze was excellent, the actors superb but 20 odd minutes wasn't long enough for the price.
