The music we did see was brilliant and the acts played through the rain. It got to Cian Ducrot and he cancelled because of a bit of rain even though by this point the rain had stopped. We were made to stand in the rain freezing cold for over 30 minutes waiting for him after AD*T for them to then cancel. In the guidance for the event it clearly states that the event will NOT BE CANCELLED due to the weather, but then the main headline act who we paid over £100 to go and see, CANCELLED BECAUSE OF THE WEATHER. Some food stalls were massively over priced for the portion sizes, the parking was hugely over priced £11.25 to park in an over grown field that took 45 minutes to get out of once the event was over. If weather was ever a factor then better planning should have been made, have a stage that isn't completely open to the weather on all 4 sides and don't make a promise that weather won't effect it and then break that promise and let's 100's of people down. I will never attend an event here again and feel sorry for the 3 acts before hand who did a brilliant performance but Cian cancelling has tarred the entire event for me!

Cian Ducrot didn't perform on technical and safety grounds that could have been easily avoided if the organisers were proactive and could cope with rain. Shambles.

I stood in the rain for 3 or 4 hours listening to the excellent support acts and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Margam Park.
After a 45 minute break between acts where I was just waiting for Cian Ducrot to come on, a member of the crew came our and announced that the rest of the event was cancelled. Then told us all to go home. Awful arrangements.

Great event ,ruined by the main artist not performing due to the weather ,even though 3 other artists performed in the same condition.
Very disappointed with the head liner.

Travelled hours after working early hour shifts, paying £12+ for parking, all support acts were brilliant and carried on through the awful wind and rain while every fan powered through getting absolutely drenched splashing cash to buy ponchos, event stated that we must wear suitable clothing for the weather as it would not be cancelled. Then the main act Cian gets called at 22:10 after waiting hours for him to come out while the weather was fine but we were told the it was too dangerous in the weather, nothing mentioned about refunds in the concert but refunds should be payed as everyone there paid to see Cian and nobody saw him , disgrace

Cian ducrot did not perform despite being advertised by Solo who stated the concert will be going ahead regardless of weather. Warm
Up acts performed despite poor weather and then the main act did not perform Despite the weather being dry at that time. We were told it was cancelled at 22.10 many of
Us attended as families and with very small Children there and to then be told To leave the park and ask for refunds. Immediately. Very poor on Solo's part. The crowds atmosphere despite the night was fab. Prices were extortionate £18 for one alcoholic drink in a can and 2x cans of soft drink. Lots were overcharged at point of sale and having to go back to dispute the costs.

I made the 5 hour drive with 3 young kids (big Cian fans) to this "family friendly event'. We made it through the wind, rain and support acts, to be told at 22.10 that very sorry but the main act would not be playing due to safety concerns, could we all make our way to the exits.
I was left with three devastated young kids! This was terribly managed, with little to no explanation. I want a full refund and apology for the manner in which this was handled.

Shambles, still setting up when acts were on stage, some of the acts clearly weren't happy with some of the set ups causing delays, and the headline act didn't even come on because of the rain. Even though at that time, the rain had stopped. Absolute joke, worst outdoor event I ever been to. Some acts were excellent however which is why I haven't given a 1 for everything.

Started badly with the gates opening almost half an hour after the event was meant to start. The stage was still being assembled as people were waiting for the show to start.
A constant boom of house/dance music (with the bass up so loud it was reverberating) in between acts.
The 3 acts who performed did well given the circumstances, hopefully they enjoyed the experience.
The food prices were a rip-off, £15 for a tiny pizza that tasted like plastic and £6 for a 99 cone with a flakes?!
Then the grand finale, Cian Ducrot's no show! After spending 5 hours in torrential rain with our young daughter, one of the staff was sent on stage with a little piece of paper to tell the crowd Ducrot was not going to be performing "due to safety concerns". Everyone thought this was a joke but then the screens were turned off and we were told to leave.
Absolutely appalling that the organisers couldn't arrange for the stage to be adequately sheltered to protect the equipment and even worse that the statement was delivered in such a half hearted manner.
Very disappointed that Ducrot didn't think it necessary to address his "amazing fans" himself, or even perform an acoustic or acapella set.
Dreadful experience and we certainly won't be following Ducrot in future, or attending any events associated with Solo Events UK.
Now we're just hoping we can get our money back for the concert that never took place!

Why didn't the main performer perform ? If it was good enough for the other acts why not the main act itself ? Wasn't even raining when he was due to sing ? The others sung in much worse conditions ?
Also stated event would not be cancelled due to inclement weather !!
A lot of VERY upset fans. A lot of money wasted!! Only cwme to see Cian

Poor show!! All the other artist performed in the pouring down rain apart from Cian! I bought the ticket to specifically watch him! He didn't even come on himself to tell the crowd. It was a rubbish evening weather wise, but we have stayed for hours in it to watch him! The show got ended so abruptly an hour before the show was due to end! Won't be attending another event! Fuming!

Definitely would not attend another Solo event. Last night's experience was a complete joke, the stage wasn't even set up properly when the doors opened and caused the issues experienced.

Very disappointed that this was cancelled after being there for 4hrs and watching the support acts, that may I add performed in the rain. To then be told that Cian Ducrot would not be performing because of the weather. Worst part was that when he was due to come on it didn't even rain for the duration of what would have been his set!!! My children were heartbroken at not seeing him and had stood in the rain and wind all that time for him to cancel 15 mins after he was supposed to go on stage
