We attended on Sunday and were warned about the queues by a mate who had given up on Saturday so came down nice and early. We avoided the queues and enjoyed the sunshine but it's a complete mystery to me why people are made to pay entry so they can be charged through the nose for some nice but overpriced food and drink. The top up system is inconvenient and there are no prices anywhere on the beer stands - you're constantly having to ask bar staff to tell you what credit you've got left. We ended up topping up a second time and didn't use the money, which everyone reassured us would be fine - except refunds take about a week AND come with a £1 fee. Nobody really warns you of that at the time.
Overall, the organisers are just making a buck on the council's ridiculous not drinking in parks policy - if that weren't in place, this event would have made zero financial sense to people. But it seems the only way we're allowed to enjoy a pint in the park is if we're lining the pockets of a private events organiser in the process.
I do want to say that staff were very helpful and the breweries had some excellent beers on offer.

We queued for 2 hours for entry. At the entry point our LFT results and tickets weren’t scanned. We were handed the wristband to top up. We couldn’t do this easily as no internet on site, but finally managed it. Queued for a further 15 mins at a beer vendor and when it was our turn no one in our party had a working wristband - the vendor gave us a half pint each for free which was very kind as they were frustrated by the system too. We went to the top up help point and the queue was very long and not moving. Waiting for a further hour, and decided as a party to move on elsewhere. This was a shame as I understand there were issues with internet but it is unforgivable at an event where you are taking money for entry and also enforcing a particular payment method. I hope you are going to offer a full refund of ticket prices and also a full refund of the monies on the wristband - including the £1 admin fee for refunding. I spoke to many on Saturday who were equally unimpressed and frustrated. Would not recommend.

Good variety of food apart from there was no burgers unless you were vegan!!!!!!!

I could not load my wrist band as the q was too long and unmoving. So I could not buy beer or food. No information about what was going on or when the tech issues would be solved. No workaround e. G. Card payments.
We left without buying anything.
No one seemed to be taking responsibility for the fiasco.

After reading about the teething issues on Saturday I was not expecting too much, but it was really good. sorry I think I gave music a rubbish score but couldn't go back to change it.

It was an hours queue to get in, no one checked my Covid test, the wristband top up wasn’t working, no brewers attended, I spent £90 on Tasting Session tickets prior to the event and after searching the venue and asking 6 members of staff about where to find them, was told they weren’t running and was given no information about a refund.

Great day out only let down is that the cashless wristbands hold on to your excess money for over a week before you can get a refund then charge you £1 for the process. It’s a joke

My friends and I pre paid for beer tasting which was cancelled on the day due to ‘licensing issues’. Some of my friends had pre loaded their wristbands and this money hadn’t gone through so they were unable to buy anything as the top op booths were down at the venue due to network failure. There was a huge queue to get in which we stood in for over 90 mins then when we reached the entrance no one checked our covid test results. The organisation was very poor. I need to try and get a refund for the beer tasting which we had paid £65 for.

The event was enjoyable, but it did feel like it was the 1st attempt at such a festival. There is plenty to improve for future events, such as offering more activities for kids. Signage could certainly have been better and the Playpass seemed completely unnecessary since it is just as easy to pay with contactless, and also a money grab since it costs £1 to return any outstanding funds from the Playpass account.

What a shame that the queues to the event lasted well over an hour. Once in the even the queues to buy a drink were awful. The top up facility failed and generally the start to the day was awful.

Once we got a beer and sat down we had a nice night. Such a shame fir all the vendors.

We waited over 2.5 hours to get in and to top up wrist bands. Once we were able to get a top up the queue for the wine tent took another 20 mins to get served. I had another 2 adult and 2 children tickets for the Sunday that I didn’t use because of the delays on Saturday. No communication from staff to say what was happening. Felt like a waste of money and my time. I would like a refund for my Sunday to tickets!

Had a lovely afternoon at the festival with my husband, our 10 month old and friends from our antenatal group. Great atmosphere and we really enjoyed sampling all the food and drink. Aware there were issues with the payment wristbands the previous day but we had no issues on Sunday and no queue to get in.
Would highly recommend and love to go back next year!

We had to wait over an hour to get in despite being 10th in line to get in, the wristbands didn't work and couldn't be topped up for most of the event. The majority of beers that were on the list didn't appear on the taps. And I now have to wait another week to get my money off my wristband and pay £1 for the pleasure of getting my money back.

I will not be going back to this event if it comes back, and would stay away from events put on by this company
