Review of Escape Alive
Excellent what I experienced of it, had to make an early exit with my six year old grand daughter, it was way too scary for her. (Maybe more suited to children ten years and over.) The staff were very helpful and the actors, costumes etc were ace. Parking attendants in the dark could do with glow sticks or glow in the dark sleeves, couldn't see them as they were trying to give us instructions on our exit. Would recommend and will hopefully revisit next year but only with older participants.

Review of Escape Alive
Nice setting and some actors were very good. However, no scary at all, lasted less than 30 minutes, bad organisation, group size too large so hard to enjoy. Big variation on the quality of costume (from A+ movie grade monsters to cheap masks from B&M), hard to hear the actors due to loud music, lots of wait around as the groups timing was too close. Too expensive for what it is. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.

Review of Escape Alive
Charging for the car park, unbelievably long wait to go in, in the pouring rain with no cover. Steps were not visible, I stumbled from a step, not one staff member asked if I was OK. No jump scares at the back. It was over very quickly. The prices were extortionate. Toilets were dirty, I had to try 4 before I found one with with toilet roll and hand sanitizer. There were too few actors and there were no actors interacting with guests outside of the walk through. I was really looking forward to a good scare, unfortunately, I didn't get one.

Review of Escape Alive
This event was not scary at all. The decorations were OK, there could have been more games after the event. Also food choices were a little limited. Bug eating was great. Good potential but scope for improvement.

Review of Escape Alive
We queued for the activity for 40 minutes despite having a pre-booked time slot. The scare maze itself was okay but not that good compared to similar ones I‘ve been to. Too many people were squeezed through at once so at times I couldn’t even be in the room where the actors wee talking. For the price, an absolute rip-off.

Review of Escape Alive
Really enjoyed the experience as did my husband and 12 year old daughter. The actors were brilliant, the perfect balance of scary and funny and knew how far to take it with children. Gwrych Castle was the perfect venue for this event creating the perfect spooky setting and as a North Wales resident it is great to see events held here which will hopefully contribute to the ongoing renovations of this once beautiful castle. Also loved the catering and activities in the courtyard after the event which meant we didn’t have to rush off and could enjoy the venue into the evening.

Review of Escape Alive
A great venue to choose. Very long queue to get in which is fine but in my opinion there could if been some characters in the line adding to the tension. The characters inside were brilliant. The story seemed a little chopped and i didn't fully understand it. The jump scares were good. Maybe a bit more of the scare mazes instead of scenes and it would of been more for me. Food and drink in the court was extortionately priced, no one stayed behind so hardly an atmosphere. Overall a good night.
