Been to many Area 51 events mostly at Whatton house and can honestly say this is the first time I was disappointed. Actors were amazing,as always, but fairground music, security being grumpy, extortionate prices from the venders and, mainly, the actual length of the trail were extremely disappointing. Especially as we'd driven from Leicester to see them. such a shame as the setting they were working from was perfect for Halloween.

Amazing experience amazing actors amazing venue. Needs queue management though as queued for 45 mins. Food and bar overpriced. Couldve done with more scare actors or more entertainment in the courtyard. The singer took away from the emersion experience as was just singing cover songs with a guitar which was too loud and not relevant to halloween.

The whole thing was a little underwhelming! The entertainment was a little boring and could feel it the atmosphere of the place. Only a couple of actors trying to keep the crowd entertained

The guide itself was okay but got busy so had to wait around a lot which slightly ruined the experience because you could hear everyone else doing their sections.

Nothing against the acting crew as they did amazing but the event just seemed poorly organised

Over priced. £5 for a can of Budweiser!
£10 for a small c**ktail in a paper cup!
Fairground rides were absolutely awful and looked very old.
Entertainment for children was cheap. Throw beanbags at cans and balls at coconuts.
The castle itself was beautiful and the actors were brilliant. The rest of it was a total rip off and let down.

Tour was more funny than scary, pretty cool but only lasts about 20 minutes. Lots of waiting in each room awkwardly for the group in front to move on.

Food stands were even more expensive than what you would get at festivals. Kebabs were all more than £10 each, burgers around that price, you could get four marshmallows for £4 and so on.

The music was chart hits from the 2000s, no spooky stuff at all.

Don't expect to make an evening of it here.

Went on opening night, nothing going on. Rugby showing on the big screen instead of horror films, no atmosphere whilst waiting to go in the castle, no fairground, just knock a coconut leaned against the wall in the pitch black. Spent an hour with nothing to do at all whilst waiting to go in. No halloween things anywhere. The walk itself could have been so good. Costumes were amazing inside the castle and at least in the queue there was spooky music. 10 let in at a time. First 3 rooms ok then another group joined ours making it massive, we were rushed past 1 area then another. Didn't hear what the army man had to say as he started before we all came out and sent us all to another room. Hanging body room wasn't big enough to fit us in and the actor was shocked how many there was. We didn't get to see their act either as some didn't even get in the door. Then sent out for a final bit but because so many people only the first 2 got a jump scare because we all knew they were there then! So much potential but booked far too many in obviously to make more money.

We were expecting it to be a lot scarier than what it was - the stopping in between each section on the maze was a little awkward. The scares weren’t timed very well so we all knew when we were expecting them to jump out and it didn’t last long enough. We felt a little let down and ended up leaving straight after as there wasn’t much else to offer.

The entire experience, start to finish, was amazing. Very well thought out and managed well, staff onsite and online were super helpful and friendly (except for the scary ones of course!) The set and actors were just brilliant. We didn't know what to expect having booked on a whim and last minute but it was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us, and even convinced a Halloween hater of the group to "do this every year" from here on out!! Thanks for the great night 🙏✨

Well below expectations left disappointed.

Acting wasn't great.. Makeup and effects were poor.. most actors had a cheap face mask on... a few poor jumpscares but nothing CREEPY.
Story that was being told didn't make allot or sense or wasn't very well written.

Venue is great but having been many of times before it didn't make the experience for me, hugely disappointed spent over £140 for 5 adults entry. (2 Adults and 3 teens at adult prices)

Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go again.
